But instead the tree of liberty is almost completely dead, and will remain that way, until the US and its history, is wiped from memory, and will only be thought about with found memories, until all those that lived in it, are dead and gone, and so it will be then as well, never to be repeated as an experiment, for it is a failed one. |

Then Washington went and fucked up a bunch of farmers who used whiskey basically as a currency because they refused to pay taxes on it and kicked the tax man out of town. Wtf was up with that? |

I return now a stranger in a stranger land who can admit no more honest a response to my former country's ruination than woe fading into waking disinterest. George |

Not only have we lost sight of the importance and necessity of personal and collective liberty, but we have also become willing slaves to the mechanism that has put us in shackles by bribing us with empty promises of security and comfort. This country needs a reset to return it to what it once was. This is why the concept of an armed citizenry is so uncomfortable to those in power, and if we continue along the apathetic and powerless road we have been traveling down, those in power will get exactly what they want. If liberty and freedom from an oppressive government is not our first priority, then we are doomed to remain slaves to that government. Quoting: Rising Son They would think.. Fuck me...I guess I died in vain to protect those that care more about prime time TV more than freedom, human rights and banks that seek to rob us at every turn... |

Quoting: MonocyteOne That's actually plausible. Not the Mars part, but to relocate, because that's what they had done to begin with. They left the tyrants in England and Europe to a fresh landscape with ideas and principles they wished to live by. Where could a similar thing be accomplished today? There were no drones, satellites, long range bombers, ICBM's, etc to contend with back then. But still seems to be a viable option even with tyranny taking a global hold. They did wipe out the indigenous population here, that's not cool, and they were also financed by the banksters and the crown, not so likely today I'd imagine. |

Morally, if they weren't capable of handling change, they wouldn't have founded the country in the first place. |
