Is THIS what's wrong with Detroit? | |
Epic Beard Guy User ID: 26240425 United States 01/23/2015 02:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is the reason Detroit is so dangerous, ranking as the third most dangerous city in the US ( [link to www.neighborhoodscout.com] because Michigan has no death penalty, therefore murderers have no fear? Quoting: SilverKwest Case in point: Just look at these scumbag murderers ( [link to www.mlive.com] Look at their attitude in the pictures. Read how, in court, they apologized to the families of Mike Brown, et al, but not to their victims' families! All they got for their heinous acts (I'm not going over them here, but they are evil to the core) was LIFE or LESS? If they don't deserve death, no one does, in my opinion. Do you agree? Take the time to vote in the poll above, and let's see what GLPers think about this! The state should not have the power to murder citizens. How many innocent people has Texas killed? Death penalty does not deter crime. We should have a death penalty for cops that kill Americans. Um, you just contradicted yourself. It's called cognitive dissonance, and it can cause mucho problems in one's life, and head. The problems it causes are solved, though, once one sees the contradictions *and* corrects them in one's beliefs/thoughts. When the stats come in, the crime rate in Detroit should be dramatically lower. Since the new head cop told the citizens to get guns and defend themselves the criminals should be a little more carefull about who the attack. Gun ownership always has a positive effect on crime rates. After a few criminals get their fucking heads blown of, the crime rate goes down. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. This blows the whole socioeconomic bs all to hell. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 61868562 I don't know why people believe all races are the same. We all know that isn't the case with animals. If you want a feisty energetic dog you might get a terrier. If you want a calmer breed you might choose a labrador retriever. If you're looking for a good guard dog a german shepherd would be a good choice. The difference in their traits are genetic. I don't know why people don't think this applies to humans. The Jew said so. |

Well, in Detroits case, there was such an abundant amount of wealth that they brought in lower class and fed them. The lower classes of people felt that wasn't enough and the crime rate rises. With a higher crime rate, the wealthy move and more lower class comes in. Before too long there isn't enough left to feed the scum |

Its shit because of the overall greed of WHITE americans. blacks dont turn the city to shit...the city is already shit and blacks have no choice but to live in them. tyrone, did you not read the last part of my post? if I'm wrong please show me an example. |

The feds have the funding and manpower to go into Detroit and end the endless crime and non-stop decline. The city needs a make over. Yes Detroit has been mismanaged but the reality is that it was a factory-based city and now all the factories are overseas in places like China, India and South Korea. Detroit, Flint and cities like them need to be retooled for the future. It's going to take a proactive president and congress to fix Detroit. I worked in section 8 communities all over Detroit for 2 years. During that time I learned a lot about the locals. To put it simply, their environment dictates how they behave. Until you have experienced this environment, you will never understand the reasoning behind the actions of the locals. |

The perps know that they are immune from getting pulled over if driving around a suburb where they don't belong because of political correctness and all the backlash against 'profiling' etc. A few months ago I was getting gas at 14 mile and Drake road in Farmington (traditionally a nice area) and was accosted by a guy looking for money so he could put gas in his car and go to a job interview. Yeah, right. |
