An Old Rosicrucian Parable of Our Sacred Journey Home

"There is a land situated in the center of the world, which is both small and great. It is soft, also very hard and stony. It is far off, and near at hand, but also invisible. In it are hidden many treasures, which the world is not able to value. This land, by envy of the devil, who always opposes good and the happiness of man, is surrounded with very cruel beasts and other ravenous demons, which make the way both difficult and dangerous. Previously, because the time had not yet come, the way forward could not be sought nor found out, but now at last the way is to be found by those that are worthy, by every man's self-labor and wisedom."

"When the time is right, when life is most long and most dark, to this land you shall go. See that you prepare yourself with prayer. Insist upon the way that leads to this hidden land, but ask not of any man where the way lies. Only follow your heart, who will freely offer itself to you, and will meet you along the path, but you shall not recognize it by sight. This loving heart will bring you to the hidden land at midnight, when all things are silent and dark. It is necessary that you arm yourselves with a resolute heroic courage, so you do not fear those things that will happen, and then fall back. You need no sword, nor any other bodily weapons, only call upon God sincerely and heartily."

I find it ironic that many today would find this parable as "New Age" bullshit.

In truth, it is only in the last 200 years that this understanding of life has been lost or disregarded.

These ideas are really thousands of years old. They were understood well before Jesus' time.

Most people never even consider old esoteric texts and writings worth considering. It can also be hard to read and to understand.

But, that does not mean that it does not contain real Truth.

All religion today expects us to follow them. To do as we are told. To have faith in them. To not question the church.

What religion really is, is control. Not freedom.

I cut down the a book almost 400 years old into a small snippet.

I them reworded it into modern day English.

I then broke it into small posts.

AND YOU STILL CAN'T FOCUS ON IT!

What does that tell you about your level of wisedom?

Tell me, how will you ever find real Truth if you are too lazy to search for it?

I know, you want some "magic key" or some "deep secret" just handed to you. Right?

Well, keep waiting. It just doesn't work like that.

Those offering the answers to life are the deceivers.

1 - Loving your neighbor will not free you from this reality.

2 - Reincarnation is very real. You will live life after life after life until you understand that love will not set you free.

Thank you for writing that out. It was just what I needed to read. I am going through a situation with my two daughters, both in their mid twenties and I am so disheartened. They have no heart..they are mean girls...shallow...it hurts my heart that they seek no wisdom.

How can any of this be true when the word of God plainly says the heart is wicked above everything and do not be deceived by it??? Just like the song that is popular now--the heart wants what the heart wants...I mean this sounds nice and right but not really when u put it up against scripture.

Not meant as a defense of rosicrucianism, but I'm pretty sure the piece that OP provided was not aimed at any sort of religious notion -- more of alerting one to the ability to change one's head-space and heart-space (one's experienced reality) through the clever patterning of words.

I think its just meant to alert you to something that exists within your human consciousness.

Try to raise above what you have been told. What god would say such a thing about you? That is not the true god, but a demigod. There is no heaven as you have been told. You do not live just one live only.

In truth, you are immortal! You were never born and you will never die! You are not this physical body, but instead you are really a spiritual being trapped in a physical body.

I am not asking you to accept what I have to say. Just stop and consider it. Then choose for yourself what is right.

Stop creating "boogie men" in your life! That is why the Christian fake god seems so comfortable to you. Because you are afraid of life and everything in it.

Try to be brave and rise above such fear and hate.

Try to understand that many people are not ready for this message. Many are so lost in hate that they cannot be saved.

Remember, this is YOUR journey and not anyone else's. You have done your job as a mother. Maybe it is time to move on.

My message is MUCH more important and profound than that!

This message is the only path to escape this physical reality.

Christians have been taught that they live one life and then go to heaven or hell. Well, that's a lie! In truth, you keep recycling back here, life after life until you begin to understand who and what you really are as a human being.

Until then, you are stuck here life after life. This message tells us how to move beyond this earthly prison of the mind.
