Correct. The greatest artists, writers, historians hung out in cafes, parks, around the world. They did not study $450 text books written by a professor and then regurgitate it on an exam at the end of a $3500 per semester course.

College shows employers you are willing and able to do that. It has value in industries where repeatable processes are important. The robots do that stuff now, so it is important to be diversified.

Critical thinking kills woo woo, that's why you don't see much real inductive or deductive logic here.
