In Daniel and Jesus' time they didn't even have a match to light a fire - so how are you going to explain tanks, airplanes, jets, drones, nuclear weapons?
When Daniel asked the angel in Dan 12 for a better explanation about end times - the Daniel essentially said - you wouldn't understand (Seal up the words), however, knowledge will increase ... ____________________________________________________________________

Revelation 18 describes an end time civilization nicknamed Babylon that is destroyed by the ''beast'' leader ... in an attack ... by fire ... in one hour (Revelation 17:16-18, Revelation 18). This prophecy would be fulfilled by a nuclear attack. In a nuclear attack hydrogen bombs would fall from the sky to the earth. A hydrogen bomb causes the fusion of 2 hydrogen atom nuclei to create a helium atom, releasing enormous energy - exactly the same nuclear reaction that creates a star. A hydrogen bomb explosion generates a small star. In a nuclear attack, intercontinental ballistic missiles launched into space which then fall and explode will cause small stars to fall from the sky.
In Matthew 24:29 Jesus said that during the end time tribulation, "stars will fall from the sky".

Russia has nuclear tipped missiles that would detonate in the sky to take out the American ICBMs in flight. Perhaps this is it?? A few dozen or hundred hydrogen nukes going off in the sky could appear like mini stars? The US might even have the same defence. Everybody is nuking the nukes in mid air. That would be quite the show at night.
