Think of that time as kind of an amusement park for the visitors. If you arrived at a distant vacation planet with a chance to be a dino for a while, would you pass that up? I wouldn't and neither did millions of others. The park became too much of a sideshow though so they got nuked. |

Read Robert Felix' two super books and you will know the only answer is some sort of electromagnetic stuff going on. eg Animals under 60 lb survived. Freshwater survived, while salt water animals died. Many animals found in strange positions - as theough they were electrocuted. But it's not just the dinos. This happens in cycles where - ice age volcanos quakes EM activity + extinction event all line up at the same time. [link to www.IceAgeNow.info] |

Because of this, the bones displayed in museums are covered with heavily leaded paint. Mainstream scientists explain this phenomenon by citing elemental uranium deposits in Colorado and Wyoming. These deposits were formed during the Jurassic-age. The radioactivity is generated from sandstones found in the region. However, not all dinosaur bones that are radioactive are discovered in the areas. Elemental uranium does not occur in nature. This isotope forms through combination with oxygen and several uranium oxidized minerals and compounds. I believe they were exterminated. Wiped out to make room for us. Well, if this is a young Earth, only about 6000 some years old and Dinosaurs truly did die in Noah's flood; not by an asteroid strike ... If there is an evolutionist conspiracy to cover that all up ... then ... perhaps the bones were purposely tainted with radioactivity in order to degrade any surviving DNA to make them appear as though they are millions of years old, therefore negating Biblical Truth. |

The Museum of the Rockies collections room has a fairly decent level - not to where it would be dangerous, but I remember someone telling me if it were any higher, folks who spent a lot of time in there would need those special radioactivity exposure badges. Point is, most of the bones that would light up a geiger counter are really big - and it would probably be more difficult than actually looking for bones in outcrop and bone fragments trailing down the hillside. [link to www.quora.com] depends on where they are found. I checked some fossils I found with the survey meter I got from GSA and they didn't have much radiation. My Baby Ben clocks were another story. Kept one of those next to my head on the nightstand when I was growing up. There is radiation in some Bananas and potatoes created by the potassium in them if they are grown in soils containing radioactive particles. I've found radioactivity in gold samples. I have a ring I never wear because of the high level. Discovered it because the skin on my finger started dying under the ring. Many areas out in the western USA with petrified wood strewn about hold a surprise also. Uranium in the soil around the uranium deposits was contained in ancient groundwater that leached into the decaying woods. This trapped it forever in the petrified wood. Jaspers are made up of ancient clays as are other rocks. That is why rockhounders sometimes carry meters to detect radioactive materials. Bob Bakker states that most pet. wood is so highly radioactive, putting samples in your pocket isn't a very good idea. Of course all of this is a natural process, part of the mineralization of the soft tissues. This is not, I repeat, Not evidence of an Atomic War in Paleo history, as some geniuses with too much time would have us think. [link to www.dinosaurhome.com] |
