White House warns Europe on Greek showdown

The problem I see is that the EU is not showing a united face, not on dealing with Ukraine (eg UK taking a back seat) or on dealing with Greece and the wider debt Issues (BoE attacking the EU)

There is a significant split in how to deal with these issues, which is the heart of the problem and the current US admin seems to have taken sides..

For my mind, that taking sides is going to cause the split.. personally at the moment I see a 3 way split, the NFF going off and creating a common market.. the central states keeping with their federal framework and the Southern States banding together in something like a Latin Union to fend off the debt yoke..

Greece is not just calling on a London style debt conference for Greece, but for all of Europe... if you get people tied to a debt yoke for too long they will rebel against that authoritarian move..

I guess we shall see what happens next..
