Kids aren't allowed to give out valentines at my place of work. I think my boss had a bad experience in her youth. She is dead against it, emails sent to parents and everything.

In fact, one year a couple of my kids brought valentines...I felt bad, and let them put them in their friends' backpacks. My boss came to see me at lunch because she somehow got word of it and told me that the kids would have to take them back.

My kids were first graders at the time.

And no, every girl in his high school is not sucking dick every other night. Plenty of girls in any high school never get any attention. Not all teen girls are sluts that sleep around.

I think this was a very sweet gesture, but at the same time, so impersonal as to be essentially meaningless.

It would have meant more to single out those girls who probably wouldn't have a valentine otherwise, and address valentines to these girls personally.
