In the times in which we live, it is not very difficult to love Russia. As a German I had long very mixed feelings and relationship to Russia, but now every ounce of sympathy is with them. By the way, I'm not just talking of myself. I hear in my circle, there is virtually everybody who likes Russia in Germany. Most feel only love on this great nation, which cares about the peace on this planet.
