GLP Southerners (U.S.) who have interest in classic rock and/or oldies music

Down where you're at (Birmingham, Atlanta, NOLA, etc) or at least the nearest mid-sized city to you, is there an accessible classic rock/oldies FM station because I am looking to make a move elsewhere in the South (I'm from South Florida) and I need to be around music that resonates with me.
Or is it all Country and Top 40, because I am a country music fan but I can't bare to withstand Katy Perry's horrid vocals blaring out of my precious stereo, I'd rather see her perform face-to-face, so at least I can get off on her stunning body.
Please... I need legitimate classic rock fans (i.e. Van Halen, Jethro Tull, RUSH, Allman Bros) or people with knowledge of the genre to open up to and recommend a small town south of the Mason - Dixon line with decent radio...
