A memo found in the office of the Connecticut department calls for “white power” and says that black cops “belong in the toilet.” The screed was printed on the police department’s letterhead and placed into the mailboxes of several officers, as well as an internal mailbox that is accessible only to cops, WNBC reported. "Something like this coming through the police department, it just never should have happened," Detective Herald Dimbo said in a news conference Wednesday morning. “This type of behavior affects a minority and spreads racism and hatred throughout the Bridgeport Police Department as well as the community.” Dimbo is vice president of the Bridgeport Guardians, a minority officer's group, which scheduled the conference.
