stop antagonizing the morans...

these flat-earthers don't get that they can spend their money and buy quality equipment to look at the galaxy themselves... if they did they'd come to their own conclusion that planets are not flat.

they ignore basic science and believe EVERY astronomer and amateur astronomer is just lying...

trust me, if there was evidence of flat planets someone would have blown the whistle...

the fact is most of them have simply gone off the conspiracy deep end... they probably also think the moon is a hologram or hollow and are against all vaccines. i'm against some, but yes... to be against all of them is equivalent to thinking the earth is flat and covered by a dome.

Whatever you believe, that the earth be flat, concave, or spherical, you should be able to verify it for yourself for under a few hundred dollars by following the method these kids employed.

Yes you can even use a "non-fish eye lens" for the camera if you want, as that seems to be the point of contention and alleged reason for photos showing the curvature of the earth.

I didn't say the video is trickery. I said using this video to prove the earth is a sphere is trickery because the lego man is floating with the horizon behind him.

But the "Flat earthers" who have a whole due paying society, could easily verify or debunk their own claims for a few hundred bucks following the method these kids used.

That the flat earthers appear to have made no attempt to conduct such as simple and inexpensive experiment and suggests they are a disinfo group.

Yeah it's curving and going straight. If its straight, it will always be straight regardless of whether the camera is tilting or not. Same thing with curving, it should have a constant curve, but it doesn't.

This is about the perspective of how the video is shot. Everyone's vision stops at the horizon. The only thing behind a horizon besides more flat surface is the things that are on the flat surface.

The teenagers have a website.
[link to www.legomaninspace.com]

And you can contact them and ask them questions about the materials they used.

Also I believe they have a video of themselves building the rig.

The Guardian article above says this about the building process:

"The pair managed to capture the entire journey into the blackness of space, including the descent, which lasted 97 minutes, using four cameras, at an entire cost of just £254."

"Spending four months of Saturdays on the project, the teenagers launched the professionally made weather balloon from a football pitch." "It then soared to more than double the height of a commercial jet's cruising altitude some 24km into the upper atmosphere from where the Earth's curvature can be seen."

"Having attached a GPS receiver to the styrofoam box carrying the cameras and Lego-naut, the two managed to recover the bundle attached to a hand-stitched parachute from a field 122km from the launch site."
