I was just telling my girlfriend about this. She introduced me to the show and I read her the original post from this thread. The show came out in 2017. The first post of this thread was written in 2015. Our consensus: the creator of the show MUST be a GLPer and got his idea from here. I looked up the show's creator. His name is Brad Wright and he also created the Stargate series and franchise. Possible conclusions: 1) The creator of Stargate is a GLPer and got his fictional idea from this post which is also a fictional idea. 2) Brad Wright got his fictional idea independently from this fictional post and any similarities are a (pretty astonishing) coincidence. 3) This post is actually true. Brad Wright's television series is also true. Both Brad Wright and the GLPer who wrote this have gotten their information from the same non-fictional source. Side note: if #3 is correct, I need to stop making fun of people who tout the the Mandela Effect. |
