Google spokewoman Elisabeth Diana told WND, “Atlas Shrugs was in violation of our terms of service. When we are made aware of a potentital policy violation, our team of specialists will manually review the site to make sure it abides by our program policies. In this case, we have stopped serving ads to Atlas Shrugs.” However, Geller believes her stories have been intentionally suppressed by the Internet giant – especially ones about President-elect Obama. She said her exclusive stories about Obama’s birth certificate that once received thousands of hits every day will not come up in Google word searches. Read more at [link to www.wnd.com] |

I've been trying to figure out what that was all about for the past week or two. Any time I post a spaceflight related thread in the last couple weeks I suddenly get deluged with tards claiming spaceflight is fake because the earth is flat. It didn't used to be like that, there's been a definite increase in flat earth tardism on GLP. Now we know why. Yep. I was wondering why as well. Its senseless and stupid for a reason. Now we know why is right. |

Whenever Google makes a change the ranking algorythems, things happen and business websites that used to be front page are nowhere to be found. One of the most famous cases is JC Penny. They used a company that used tactics that Google started to ban and here is a story of what happened. I'm sure you would enjoy it if you are following this thread. Same with Facebook, and many other social sites. It's all about collecting information, so they won't have to work as hard during the "purge." Within the surreal depths of "reality" lies the truth. |
