God then helps the grateful in the manner in which God thinks you need to be helped. Trusting God is how you build a relationship with him and have your faith Grow. Lucifer will give you whatever you want and watch you hang yourself with it. One does not pray for the cure of disease, one is thankful that God thinks you've done enough here and it's time to come home. This sort of thing.
