Mind-Boggling Lucid Dream
I have almost developed a lucidity in my dreams and last night was insane. The setting was Australia, or so I asked in the dream but the sky was orange and the ocean was almost turquoise. Despite that I was thinking that it seems like another planet. I was in a complex near the ocean and I could see the waves crashing. In the complex I was approached by a caretaker(I assumed)/other and a baby with a gigantic brain and head. Even before I was about to ask the obvious question, It responded to it with speech and telepathy I think. It was like someone fast-forwarding a conversation with you until you get to the end understanding. "wh-(answered), well, th-(answered)you-(answered)...etc...Tha-(Your Welcome).

Part of the info was what the baby was and I remember anxiety or slight fear about the magnitude of things. The baby changed forms/grew to an adult which looked nordic - Tall, Light skin/hair. This was a lapse in lucidity because I never saw the transformation and can't remember everything sent to me telepathically (paratri-something-osmosis) but I wish I could extract this info because everything was explained.

In this adult phase, I was in some kind of competition in the complex where the command was given and BAM - whoever was last to complete the command would be eliminated or by last person or default time. There was a telepathic aspect to this too. I recognized some of the others in this competition but it felt like a do or die situation where everyone was out for themselves. -Lapse- A command in which it came down to a me and someone else that I recognized before where it was a sudden death round. It seemed like a fight to the death was about to begin but right before a judge? proclaimed that a person was miscounted and disqualified - so we both progressed on to the next round with a few others who I mostly Recognized! THEN I WOKE UP. damnit!

I think it was a real other-dimensional occurence and not fictional, but who really knows.

Re: Mind-Boggling Lucid Dream
Fascinating! But you probably weren't in Australia, just somewhere distant from where you normally are.

It seems as though some parts of the discussion are non-remembered. Also, it may be an intense dream that leaves a strong imprint, but it doesn't sound like a lucid dream, where one becomes fully conscious during the dream.

When I have had important dreams, I try to stay in bed for a period of time (maybe only 10 minutes or so) hanging out in the "in-between" conscious and non-conscious so that I can ask questions of myself about different parts of it which helps to recall what parts of it were all about.

It would be interesting to know what the instantaneous answers were about.

It seems as though you end part of your dream meant that we are about to go on the ride of our lives. Some will die suddenly(sudden death round) It will mean our very lives and what ever we do now, we are being judged, and the judge is writing down who will endure to the end faithfully to him

Interesting. The place you describe with the orange sky with a complex near water with waves crashing up to it. I was there 2 nights ago.

I've also met people who answered my questions before I could finish a sentence.

As for the race, this is your mind working out a way of solving a problem in your head. You feel like you dont have enough time left in the world to solve the problem. Its possible that is entirely true, and you need to continue your spiritual development because time is running short on this planet for you. Possibly us.

I have the recurring dream that I'm back in High School, only I'm the same age as I am now. Older and wiser now, I can't believe I let these little pubescent twerps get under my skin. I still can't get the hot chicks though.

Could be a dream of a past life on another planet...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 133457

Sounds like it to me...
These days, past life memories pop up at random. (or IS it random?)

I had a strange song in my head the other night, which I had heard way back when I was in living in Egypt... Around to time of JC.
The singer came and sat on my lap when she was finished the song.

Ah well…

Re: Mind-Boggling Lucid Dream
Speaking of which..

I've been having many more dreams now then ever.

Lots of them very vivid...just wish I kept a journal log of all of them!

There is one thing though...

My dreams always have something to do with a train, subway train, or an Airport.

Nothing exploding or anything, but I'm always traveling in one of those things..
Going to Save the World...

Re: Mind-Boggling Lucid Dream
Thanks for all the responses. I'm sorry I was out and couldn't get back sooner.

I Don't live near military bases or crash sites, lol.. I think the dream world is awesome though and there IS somekind of dimensional thing there. I can almost tell when I am in different dimensions or planes.

The environment did seem to be another planet for sure. The question I always have is that if its a parallel dimension and time, or a vision of a future time.

Re: Mind-Boggling Lucid Dream
Hey Hero, DO start keeping a dream journal. I go to Dream Views Index and have a journal there in the Dream Journal section.
In fact I have to get over there and post the one from last night. VERY strange, vivid, and it actually had me up off the bed and ready to leave!!!

I, also have been having vivid dreams since about the beginning of June. Up until then, most of my dreams had to be really traumatic or vivid to remember them. Now it's almost a nightly occurance, and most of the time at least 3 different dreams.
It's worth the time to go to Dream Views, because you not only learn about the dreams, but learn how to manipulate them to a degree and know when your dreaming (this is lucid dreaming).
I recently fought off dream paralysis and an evil entity by invocing spiritual help. It worked!!
