I live in the part of NJ that gave it the name "the Garden State".

People mock NJ, and the average survivalist would never think of moving here (with some good reasons).

But we have water. They say there is enough underneath the Pine Barrens to last a million years. Philly tried and tried to get it, but NJ never let them.

Most years there is adequate rain for excellent "dryland farming", ie, the only irrigation I ever see is the sod farms. Some years I watered my tomatoes only a few times.

Water. It really matters.
