Chicago Teen Vaccinated Without Her Consent

From the article, this is weird to me..(So she consented to one but not the others?)

I would have shoved the needle up the nurses ass if they tried to do that shit to me when I was at school...

She claims the form only covered the mandatory vaccinations for the school. The chickenpox vaccine is the only one in that category.

No, they told her she had signed a consent form giving permission for her daughter to get all required and recommended vaccines, which is both meningitis and chicken pox. Which is what she is denying, not claiming. Obviously she didn't read what she had signed, not saying they were on there but that's why it's important to READ what you sign...that way if shit ever does happen you know for a fact what you signed for.

So let's just ad the hep a and the hpv and pretend they are included.

Why?.....the stupid mother signed without reading.

There's really no issue here. Read anything that requires your signature thoroughly......I've known that since before I ever had to sign anything. If there's something there that seems funny to you then ask questions

Blame the parents and the educators. These kids don't know how to choose for them selves.

"Not" required.....but "recommended" as per the document she signed said. You can't fix stupid and as a society we shouldn't have to. Not saying necessarily that the mother was stupid but not reading and asking questions is a stupid mistake that she herself made. She has nobody to blame but herself

It's not a free and democratic societies responsibility to think for anyone. That is a strange point of view in my personal opinion. If it was the child it would be one thing but the mother signed the release. If you're an adult and have kids you need to be able to think for yourself and not blame others when you don't. Hopefully this mother learned something about being an adult here
