I'm looking but; I can't find any time Guam was hit by a typhoon in the month of March.

Therefore, this sucker is going somewhere else and/or disappear.

It just seems strange for this time of year. I seriously doubt that the PI will be bothered by Bavi (name of this storm). But, we'll know more in a couple of days.

There is an el nino but that generally makes for more typhoons in central to eastern pacific. This is weather mod though.

Hyea. Another post of yours mentioning how unusual the weather for storms so early this time of year. I'd do internet searches and prepare for what is up ahead.

I did an internet stroll and found this on there. Maybe Sandpoint has a point?

As with other islands in the Pacific, such as Fiji or the Diaoyu Islands, the small islands along the rising edge of the Mariana Plate or the Philippine Plate will not fare well. There is simply no way to be 100 miles inland for any degree of safety during the tidal sloshing that the pole shift will bring. In those islands that have volcanic mountains, tidal bore will be an issue. Thus, Guam and the Mariana and Bonin Islands are not advised as safe locations. The tipping of the Mariana and Philippine Plates during the pole shift will cause the eastern coasts on these islands to gain elevation slightly, while their west coasts will lose, commensurately. Water will be on the move, seeking its level, and thus could wash over small islands with low elevation. A devastation!
