HAMSTERS PICNIC – reminder that we’re having our monthly PICNIC tomorrow Sunday on Hampstead Heath, top of Parliament Hill, just downwind of the kite-flying area in a north-westerly direction (too windy/crowded right at the top). 1-4 this time. Weather will be cloudy but hopefully dry (but bring a brolly just in case). CAN YOU LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO COME? as last time I was left with a pile of left-over picnic as almost no one turned up! (probably my fault as didn’t send a reminder a couple of days ahead so just hope this catches people!!)



EMPOWERMENT MONDAY DEMO/’MAGNA CARTA DAY’ – Monday 15 June, Royal Courts of Justice, 12-4. Along with other speakers on justice and human rights, I shall be unveiling my new campaign ‘CHILDREN’S RIGHTS FIRST’ which once again is directed at Parliament. The aim is to get all or part of the UN CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD 1989 enacted as part of UK law/our own ‘Bill of Children’s Rights’ or ‘Children’s Charter’ onto the statute-book. It is clear from all we have witnessed over the past few years that ordinary human rights law and our criminal code does not protect the children. Crimes including the most hideous atrocities are committed against babies and children to which the police all too often turn a blind eye, q.e.d., usually because ‘important people’ are involved in the perpetration of these crimes. The victims are not allowed to speak out and their voices are stifled. Enough is enough; all this is totally unacceptable in a so-called civilised society and has to end. We need a Children’s Rights Bill in the new Parliament and I shall be going on a hunt from now on for MPs willing to help draft and introduce that. I hope to have a working-party up and running by the end of this session and hopefully the Bill can be introduced in the next Queen’s Speech. If we can get it in there, there will be a clause in the Bill stipulating clearly that to knowingly COLLUDE, COVER-UP OR CONCEAL paedophile and related abuse will incur prosecution. Please join in helping make this reality!



THE GRANDPARENTS – they are in London/UK this week. I haven’t seen them myself but according to the grapevine Barnet SS told them they might be able to visit the children. But this hasn’t yet happened, so it looks as if they have been lured here on a false pretext. There’s still hope they can see the children Monday before their return to Russia Tuesday but I’m not holding my breath at this stage…



THE APPEAL – Ella’s application for Permission to Appeal against Mrs Pauffley’s judgment could be heard any day now. As soon as the date/time is known I’ll let everyone know, hopefully we can fill the public gallery.
