Or IS there a difference? In America Canadian Bacon is cooked and smoked back bacon. It's thick cut and is round, usually about 4 inches in size. It's pretty expensive too. Usually a little half pound is like $7 bucks. All in all, think of it as just thick cut deli lunch meat ham. So, what is pealmeal bacon? I'm guessing it's what we Americans call Canadian Bacon?
