You don't need to cook to bring breakfast from home. Yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, along with a nice tea or coffee.

I would NEVER EVER eat anything from mcdonalds. If you insist on eating out for breakfast at least try to find a nice market or small mom and pop shop to throw you together some real food.

Re: best healthy fast food breakfast ?
OP,

My husband goes to work very early (3 or 4 am), so we just can't cook breakfast. I alternate these breakfasts for him:

Nature Valley granola bars & peanut butter
Pears, almonds, & string cheese (his favorite)
Yogurt & almonds
Bananas (we grow them in our backyard; he eats several for breakfast when they are ripe)
Pop Tarts (we are not food snobs)

If you are looking for something warm, I highly recommend Jimmy Dean sausage/egg/cheese croissants. We take the egg off, however, because it doesn't taste very good to us. Otherwise, they are delicious and really hit the spot when you want the taste of a real breakfast. One minute in the microwave, and you're out the door.

I don't see anything wrong with your McDonald's oatmeal, tea, and egg McMuffin. Other than it might be too expensive. But if that's not an issue for you, go for it.
