Canada 03/24/2015 08:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Calling Dr. Astro! What is the red spherical object in the sky in these pictures? Anyone who can give info, please do. I was running through the pics from spaceweather of the comets tonight. LOTS of pics of comet Lovejoy, which is just a beautiful comet. Anyway, I came across this pic: [ link to spaceweathergallery.com] Wait Wah? Anyone? What is that? I would've just brushed it off as a fluke, but decided to look at the other pics. Here's another with an image similar: [ link to spaceweathergallery.com] But more like a crescent of the first pic. Anyone have any ideas? There are no explanations in the pics. I've never seen anything like this and I've been looking at these kinds of pics for a long long time now. |

I don't think all of these photographers have the capability to see other solar systems, but even if they did, why have we not seen this particular object observed by the Hubble? I follow Hubble, I haven't seen this. |

Quoting: Kendall 828977 Me too, it definitely has that gaseous look. But have you ever seen a Nebula that's perfectly round? |
