Kenya restaurant slammed for 'no Africans after dark' policy

Here in the US there are similar if not totally spelled out policies.....In some "darker" areas stores/restaurants will lock their doors and only conduct business thru a bulletproof port....No deliveries or service to certain areas after dark....


Just reality survival tactics in retail and commerce....


A few years ago there was a string of robberies target Chinese delivery guys....they were being clubbed like baby seals off their bikes delivering in da 'hood....a death and severe injuries resulted....but the restaurants were called "Raciss" for discontinuing deliveries....

It seems people are still afraid of the dark as well.

When I read the title I thought it was because it would be difficult to see them in the dark.

I have spent extended time there and I can understand why he is taking the extra precautions.

I was referring to those that fear the dark, not related to colour, people where I live don't go out after dark for fear of crime, even though crime here is very low. Yes I have lived in Africa, and South America so I know about crime problems.

If the restaurant were actually allowed to carry out this common-sense policy then the employees would be much safer, assets would be protected, and the establishment would be more likely to stay in business.
