OR is something being conveyed OUT of Iran?

Those boats were in Iranian hands. Procedure dictates that they will be gone over like fleas on a weak dog.

I go back to my first gut reaction to all of this...

WHAT WAS ON THOSE BOATS OR IN THEIR COMPUTERS THAT WAS BEING CONVEYED TO TEHRAN?

This wasn't a warning or a mistake.

First thing comes to my mind are codes of some type. Either military or some type of encrypted letter of some sort. Perhaps within the GPS units.

That's my take, Jazzy.

That kind of stuff could easily be conveyed without all the theater ie: Shillary emails. Or it could have been passed by any of the diplomats during the 'deal' talks.

My bets are on something physical, not electronic, that couldn't be carried in a coat pocket.

I have no idea what it was. I just know that it wasn't what they want us to think it was.

US speedboats were in Iranian waters, in broad daylight and in plain view. And they KNEW that they were.

There was no mechanical failure.

They were 'engaged' by the Iranians in smaller, less equipped boats backed by helos.

There was no gun battle. The IRG called it 'acting unprofessionally' and it went on for 40 minutes. The IRG was SPECIFIC about the length of time.

The warship nearby did not assist.

The sailors were detained by the IRG...NOT the Iranian Navy, who NORMALLY patrols those waters.

The IRG comes out with the blatantly LAME excuse of nightfall as the reason for detaining the sailors.

"I believe they were trying to activate & locate IRGC radar sites & Iranians now have classified equipment. Only reason they let them go was to make sure there was no delay in getting their $1.5 billion tomorrow."

Thoughts?

In plain view? Not buying the 'excuse' for why they were there.

I'm sorry. Obozo may have gutted our military brass but our guys did NOT just fall off the stupid train into idiocyville. That may be what the sailors THOUGHT they were doing, but that's not WHY they were sent there UNPROTECTED and instructed to STAND DOWN.

The US doesn't just willingly lose classified equipment.
