At this Indy library story hour, drag queens read to kids

(INDYSTAR.com) - Forget pajamas and cartoons. For Halle Pino, Ida Kay and Blair St. Clair, Saturday morning meant story time for a room of young kids — and dress-up story time at that.

The occasion? Drag Queen Storytime at the Indianapolis Central Library. The trio read tales with superhero themes to the kids who sprawled out on the floor, in the seats and on parents' laps in Clowes Auditorium.

How far up does a country's airspace extend?
By international law, the notion of a country's sovereign airspace corresponds with the maritime definition of territorial waters as being 12 nautical miles (22.2 km) out from a nation's coastline.

There you go. They were well within their rights to be flying there.

Since the US will not vacate Afghanistan to allow them to run the Iran-China pipeline through it, they have decided to take the longer northern route. Qatar switching sides seems to have been the linchpin after the failure to completely secure Ukraine and Turkey shifting alliances.

Its interesting, for want of a better word, how these terrorist groups are so eager to take responsibility for slaughtering innocent human beings. At they pleased with themselves for being mentioned in print? They're like sociopaths who enjoy watching details of their murders being shown and talked about in the MSM.

North Korea cancels annual beer festival, tour firms say

The reclusive country's Taedonggang Beer Festival, which debuted last year, was reportedly due to start on July 26 but was abruptly canceled, according to two tour companies that organize trips there.

The companies -- Koryo Tours and Young Pioneer Tours -- said they received news of the cancellation on Sunday. No official reason was given for the sudden change in plans, but Beijing-based Koryo Tours cited a looming drought as the likely reason.

Archaeologists unearth 2,700-year old reservoir in Israel

Israeli archaeologists digging near the city of Rosh Ha-Ayin have uncovered a remarkably large 2,700-year-old water system surrounded by wall engravings that dates back to the end of the Iron Age.

The system, which includes a 13-foot-deep reservoir that is 66 feet long, was built beneath a large structure with walls that extended nearly 164 feet, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced last week. Its size suggests that it was an administrative site built to control the region’s water supply.
