On the surface of things, yes. Barely perceptible unless actual military ops are being observed, but behind the scenes, the longs knives are being made quite sharp for use later when the need for mutual cooperation has outlived its usefulness. Israel will be fighting off such long knives in the back.

Alliances of Convenience rarely last with any true measure of sweetness.

Zilla, that is a bit short-sighted view, IMO.

Yes, words alone are not enough,

but Netanyahu has managed so many accomplishments, if I started to list them your head would spin. People simply have wildly unrealistic expectations of what an Israeli PM can do (with a tiny 1-seat majority, no less!) -- esp. with a hostile Obama in the White House. Remember this isn't North Korea or even China.

The Jewish State is easily the most complex, most combustible, most vulnerable, most under-the-microscope part on Earth. To manage it successfully even in good times, is unbelievably complicated.

You say it's only words. But words matter! Truth matters. You can't even begin to formulate the right course of action, until you are able to honestly & objectively assess this thing called 'reality.

And for the longest time, Israel did not want to hear reality, and the Israeli leftist media & Establishment refused to tell the truth: Palestinians are not a peace partner.

One thing is for sure: the region and the world is FAR from boring. Most of my friends are not into it, life's so busy, it's all about sosh-media now

but I can't resist checking it at least once in a while. It's just so fascinating.

And to be fair, Iran-Hezbollah-Russia have extracted an even heavier price on the Sunnis over the years. Which is why wealthy fat-f*cks in the Gulf are so terrified, so aggressive -- going so far as to even GASP! cooperate with the 'Zionist Entity' behind the scenes.

I mean, really, actually floating trial balloon news re: buying Israeli AD systems? Even a year or 2 ago, it would unthinkable for the Arabs to admit it, haha!

But that's what happens when a couple of Saudi Genenerals and dozens soldiers get wiped out by Iran-provided Scud & old Russian 'Tochka' missiles in Yemen. Suddenly the Saudi elites are scared their palaces would be bombed next!

So help us, Jews!

The public definitely wants reassurances & in a democracy people expect their leader to have press-conferences. I don't know why all of a sudden it's such a big deal, esp. with Leftist media whining that Bibi doesn't talk to them enough.

Plus, events change, so the public needs to be updated.

Again, I know most people here want the best for the Jewish State, it's an emotional issue, it's a moral issue I get that. Due to young age and maybe my parents, I too can be very idealistic & ambitious -- but lately I've been forcing myself to be more REALISTIC in order to balance things out a little, haha.

Zilla, realistically Netanyahu, Moshe Ya'alon, Gilad Ergan, Shin Bet, Police, IDF are doing pretty much all they could. Things are SO complex, so explosive, so unpredictable, that ONE FALSE move would literally explode the region. Left-Arab led government could easily come to power if Bibi is not careful. Or Peace Treaties with Egypt and Jordan would collapse. Obama would have his much desired excuse to throw Izzy under the bus at the UNSC. ICC would render Israeli leaders as 'war criminals'. Those foreign hi-tech powerhouses like Microsoft, Intel, Samsung? They would pack up and flee in a nano-second. You would have no economy. Iran, Hezbollah, Russia would smell blood, as would ISIS, Nusra types... Best Israeli minds would be applying for visas to exit the country like crazy (hell, you'd be surpsied how many wanted to run during a small conflagration with Hezbollah in summer of 2006...)

Patience, Zilla. People wanted to invade Gaza last summer, and it would have been collective suicide. Right now, Netanyahu is closely watching Iran, Russia, Syrian chemical weapons, ISIS, Hezbollah, even Pakistan and North Korea nuke tests.

In other words, the LAST thing Bibi needs is a horrible full-blown 3rd Intifada -- if it can be avoided.

Maybe it can't be avoided, maybe there are too many players who want Israel to burn at this very moment... OK, then Netanyahu will adjust accordingly in the days ahead.

One thing's for sure, Mister Zilla: you can't pay me enough Kate Upton's to be a PM of Israel, hahaha talk about a thankless crazy job!

Don't get me wrong, Z, I am not saying you don't have a point; of course there is danger in CONSERVATIVE course of action, as well: if indeed big-time players all want the 3rd Intifada, it WILL happen no matter what Netanyahu does. So in that case, being practive and putting

So basically that's what Izzy is checking: is this one of those spontaneous things that has fuel of its own... or is this basically prelude to a major War. Honestly? Even best analysts & intel chiefs probably do not know at this point.

I mean, really, as toxic as Palestinian genocidal propaganda environment has been over the last 2 decades+... plus every Pali kid has a smartphone and get find most radical jihad preachers online, can set up an impromptu terror 'cell' with his cousin or a buddy...

How do you stop it, Zilla-- without becoming North Korea? You say Israelis being knifed is unacceptable. There are lots of things that are unacceptable. Gang rapes in most advanced countries in Europe, mass-shootings at colleges. But they happen.

If anything, this spontaneous 'grassroots' kiddie terror phenomenon is a reflection how EFFECTIVE Israeli police, Shin Bet have been over the years in dismantling major terror infrastrucure of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, PFLP, PRC and other alphabet-soup terror-du-jour joints.

So how do you stop it? Short of going the Adolf Hitler route? Even closing off West Bank won't work because you have 1.5 million Israeli Arabs, and it's E. Jerusalemites and Northern Arabs who have been mostly behind this stabbing wave!

Good move. As are calls for deportation.

Operative word "plans", LOL.

I'll believe it when I see it. Wait til UN screams bloody murder. Wait til the White House chimes in after long consultations. Wait til Israeli-Arab party and leaders threaten mega-ultra-super-Intifada.

Oh yeah: wait until the the *real* people in charge of the country weigh in on the issue: 'BAGATZ' or the 'Israeli Supreme Court'. Aka, the 'Self-Annointed Enlightened Ones' -- who up until very recently, demanded that Arab 'kids' not even be charged for the 'innocent kiddie activity like hurling boulders at cars on a freeway....

L, LOI know Jazzy hates when I make historical references ("Spam, Karl, spam!"), but sorry it's impossible to understand anything Middle East without having some historical perspective or analysis.

So OK: there used to be a dude named Itzhak Rabin. A Prime Minister or some such. Now after he gave up the proverbial store to Palis during the Oslo Accords, suddenly to the world community & media, he became "St. Itzhak of Rabin". Like Mandela, basically.

Still with me? So this Rabin thought now we're all gonna be loved and UN will be on our side against horrific Palestinian suicide bombing campaign (read: Palestinian "gift" to Israel for all those concessions to Arafat)

So Rabin & another global peace darling, Shimon Peres, made a decision to deport like a few dozen of the worst Palestinian murderers to S.Lebanon which was controlled by pro-Israel Christian Militia (SLA). They were willing to accept the murderers.

Now one would think it's a slam dunk for Rabin. To his mind, Israel had total moral & legal justification to get rid of these released murderers. I mean, it's not like they were being executed or anything, in fact they were being released in some cases!

Now everybody, take a wild guess as to the reaction of the UN, American allies and even the Israeli Supreme Court when Rabin proposed this terrorist release arrangement?

Again, remember we're talking about St. Itzhak of Rabin here, NOT the "arrogant Right-winger" like Benjamin Netanyahu or "butcher of Sabra and Shatila" Ariel Sharon....!!

LMAO!

So young and yet, oh so knowledgeable about everything Israel.

Why, they even talk as if they were inside the minds of all those they speak of.

Mrs. Jazzy, I know you hate me & and you need no excuse. Your playground and all that.

Yes, I don't want to be like most of my peers (I love my friends but they can be very shallow). Being passionate and speaking the historical truth as I see it, is something I absolutely will NOT make apologies for.

I rarely post, mostly in spurts, so when I do I speak my mind. Israel may be just a religious issue to you, but it's also a moral & strategic one for the West. If Israel gets steamrolled by Muslim-Marxist tidal wave, that won't end just on the Eastern shores of the Med.

Simple as that.

All warfare is based on deception. - Sun Tzu

To me, this is precisely what the meaning means to me. Operating by the principles of the world, man becomes entangled in the web of deception and lies. He becomes a programmed creation, not himself. When operating under the principles of the Word (Yeshua )there is no deception. Only abundance, grace, and mercy. More importantly, divine understanding.

Sheik Salah Nabbed Trying to Leave Israel

The head of the Israel Islamic Association Northern Branch, Sheikh Raid Salah was in court this week as the government moves to declare his organization illegal. Salah is no stranger to Israeli courts of prisons for he has been in both in connection with his terrorist-related actions and convictions.

During this week’s proceeding the sheik was released to house arrest and informed he may not leave the country.

Now why would he rush to leave a land that he supposedly would die to 'cleanse of occupiers'?

Because he wants others to die for the cause. While he sits back in his plush home and encourages them to die for him. Then, when he knows that the 'jig is up'... he rushes to leave the country.
