If you mean terrorizing, yes. It will all begin (continue) again. But it's not hamass who will be doing it. They just aren't able to control it anymore. Their bank account is thin since they lost out on the Iranian moolah and Fatah has cut off their credit line. Not to mention the fact that they can no longer line their pockets through the flow of goods through the tunnels. hamass' days as the leaders of gaza are coming to a close.

And Israel will continue to spend millions on missiles to shoot at fireflies until every last hamass member is dead and the gazans beg for Fatah to take over.

Yes. But she left it to form Hatnuah, but then joined forces with Herzogs' Labor party to form Zionist Union. She and Likud have always been at loggerheads though.

Liberman used to be Likud but he left it to form Yisrael Beiteinu...a party for Russians who disagreed with the the hardline stance of Likud against palis.

Livni was in Ariel Sharons and Olmerts cabinets under Likud.

She is a BIG champion for a 2 state solution and full and equal rights for Israeli arabs.

I'm at a loss on something, Jazzy. How is it that Likud committed political suicide?

All this crap is so damned predictable. We are caught in a time loop.

Netanyahu is already on thin ice and has been for quite a while. He's under investigation for fraud, kickbacks, and breach of trust. And his wifes' little spending shenanigans aren't helping. He has consistently backed down time and again from taking action against hamass even when other parties have urged him not to. And most of this has been since Liberman became DM. Livni recently called him out for being indecisive and weak. He was just BARELY able to form a unity gov in his last election as PM, and only then with a bunch of wrangling and promises to unsavory characters (Bennett/Liberman/Herzog). Hell, even Ehud Barak has come out of the woodwork to speak against him.

The people in the border towns are at their wits end because of hamass and feel that Netanyahu is turning a blind eye to their plight in order to save his own ass politically.

This has been going on for far too many years. People are fed up and they show it at the polls.

Almost everyone who has been watching this Gaza situation for 10 years or more was certain that Israel would remove Hamas, take Gaza City and install the Palestinian Authority, almost immediately after Trump was inaugurated. Instead, we now see historic, uncharacteristic weakness and indecisiveness from Israel. It's hard to explain why this once in a lifetime geo-political blue moon is being squandered by Netanyahu. I feel like Trump has something of a desire to make peace in the region a goal of his and didn't give Netanyahu the expected support to oust Hamas. If true though, this shows Trump is not a standard Zionist, but an ideological neutral observer.

If this weakness is Netanyahu alone, he better hurry in case Trump is ousted by Dems taking over house and Senate in November. Israel will surely be met with betrayal or at least lack of support by the next more liberal US administration.

In a more jaded view, it's possible Israel doesn't want it resolved at all because a deal making Palestinians citizens of Israel with voting rights won't work, and setting up a statehood deal where the West Bank is then physically connected to Gaza & radicalized won't work for them either.
