In a conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Egyptian intelligence, a number of messages were conveyed:

Hamas demands $ 40 million a month from Israel for its associates and officials, demands that Israel cease its control over the grant and enter the grant without preconditions. Israel refuses.

Netanyahu announced that the Qatari grant would continue to be transferred to needy families with full UN supervision, without transferring funds to officials and relatives of the PIJ and Hamas. The participants in the return marches also will not receive the grant.

Netanyahu conveyed a firm message about a large-scale operation in the Gaza Strip if necessary to maintain Israel's security.

Egyptian intelligence informed Netanyahu that Hamas refuses to allocate part of the money to the projects, and Hamas demands additional funds for the projects. Netanyahu informed Egyptian intelligence that he refused this demand.

Iran’s Supreme Leader sacks senior military commanders

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has sacked the Commander of the Basij forces, Gholam-Hussein Gheybparvar, and the deputy Chief of Staff of the armed forces Ataollah Salehi, DPA reported yesterday.

Reporting the Iranian news agency IRNA, DPA said that Khamenei replaced Salehi with the Major General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani and Gheybparvar with Major General Gholamreza Suliemani.
