From a political standpoint, this should be an extremely important press briefing for MBS. My Saudi friend says “this conference is what will accept him as King when his father dies”. So in other words, pretty important press briefing.

If he presents solid and firm evidence of Iranian involvement (he will) I don’t see how he can’t retaliate militarily. MBS can’t just say “Oh, here’s some solid and firm evidence this party attacked us. But, we’re not going to do anything about it.”
