All languages do come from one and there is evidence of this in every language, however, hebrew is derived from semitic languages which came from Afro-asiatic languages which are indeed much older, and written evidence tells this fact. There is evidence that the first languages were ideograms, entire ideas instead of letter symbols. If this is true, it would certainly account for the puzzle our language is now, and why we have to fit pieces together from various languages to gain a better understanding.
