one and only Son is a terrible and false translation, as most of the NIV is. Jesus was the only begotten Son, as he was implanted into Mary, but the full plan of God was to have many sons. Because of him now ALL of us have the choice to become sons and daughters, just not begotten. When in doubt, always look to the King James version for the most accurate translation. Much of the NIV has been falsely 'cleansed' to allow for things like the gay agenda and in a large part was funded by people wanting to promote such things.

You are wrong, this is why when Jesus was asked to teach the people to pray , he told them to say OUR FATHER who art in heaven. To call him Father means we have a sonship relationship with Father God.

Kjv is the only true inspired Word of God. The others are twisted in certain ways that affect meaning. And many churches are built upon these deceiving translations. Some instances are subtle... but thats what the enemy is good at. Mixing lies with truth.
