Eli, Eli lema sabachthani was a quote from Psalms, look it up. He wasn't really saying sabachtha, that God has forsaken or abandoned him.

By the way, he prayed to EL not yah(weh). It's not yahweh, yahweh, lema sabachthani but ELI because Jesus knew yahweh isn't God.

The most high (El Elyon) who is The Heavenly Father (ABBA) is who Jesus prayed to.


And God is really WITHIN (Luke 17:21), so God doesn't abandon anyone but you can choose to ignore God's Holy Spirit within you.
