the illuminati was a righteous secret society founded in 1776 composed of scientists, historians aka truthseekers. they were FORCED to be secret under threat of torture and death via the catholic church that claimed those who didnt believe the sun revolved around the earth and other untrue unscientific religious superstition were heretics and working for the devil. whether they still exist or even still call themselves the illuminati is uncertain but of course there are good and bad people in this world even in positions of power and influence, its just its rarer to find good people who attain power and wealth and thus the bad ones assert the most influence on the global stage.
