What's the latest on wolves: Are they still endangered in the US?
They were on the endangered species list, then were taken off, and the federal government lifted protection for the wolves. There numbers are increasing, but environmentalist say its wrong to kill them, when they were here first before white setters.

What's the latest? Are wolves federally protected?

No need to worry about the wolves. No not protected in some states. They have bred too well killing forests now. Small wildlife getting scarce weeds now growing do to no deer. So soon the forests will light up like a roman candle to save the wolves. Hope this helps you. The forest not so much. But it did feel good letting them loose, right?
