It is the same with puerto rico...I had a racist uncle who looked like I had smacked him in the face when I explained that puerto rico has been part of the US since 1898. But I have no negative feelings toward Guam, and I think Guamites? Guamians? Guambatas? are just as valid in their "americaness" as someone from vermont. |

The worst for me was almost 4 yrs at Kadena AB Okinawa ! Now that sucked , my only saving grace was lots of Audio Equipment , and I worked on bran new F-15's. .. Just a reminder ! we are leaving Okinawa soon and air force stationed there plus all those A/C and the marine bases are all relocating to Guam ! So there must be a ton of building going on at Anderson. |
