1991 was an awesome time -- we had just destroyed the 4th largest army in the world, the USSR had fallen -- we were the top dog and we knew it!

Amazing what a change has happened in less than 25 years. Compare that to most any commercial today.

I'm not American, but seeing this sure makes me wanna be. Oh for the freedom, the choices, the 'basic, home cooked food'. America, yes, yes, YES, America I love you so much.

And don't get me wrong, I'm not a hater. I've been to the States many many times since my first visit in 1987. But to suggest this stupid advert embodies everything that is (or was) great about America is a bit daft to say the least.
