Just get in your car and drive to another State where you know someone who will let you stay a bit, even in your car if you have to. Go to welfare as sick and homeless, file for assistance and disability. File for HUD housing as soon as possible also. You have to do this now, the longer you wait, the longer it will take. Do this or you might die and continue to suffer. Another state can also help with legal aid. You should not loose your children for being in a abuse shelter as you know. I know it seems hopeless right now. But things can get better. I have been in hard times like this. I waited too long to ask for help. Do this now, this very hour. You are not alone. I was the Cubs scout, Boy Scout, Girl Scout leader, the chess club mom, FFA, 4h, class mom, pat, was running for school board when all this went down. I homeschool on top of the kids being in gifted program, as have 99th percentile IQs, but also aspergers, & some other issues. I was the house that had all the kids over & always had activities. I loved being a mom & put them first before myself always. My health conditions were make worse thru all this stress, abuse, trauma, & I worked my ass of & gave 98% to attorneys until their demand for money exceeded my ability & I was left with nothing. So now have hard core ptsd. And miss my children dearly daily. I was a good loving mother & good wife. He was a beater, abuser, cheater, & I had discovered a porn exchange server in basement (innapropriate stuff on it) he threatened me, told me if I told he would kill me.. He got nervous & closed all bank accounts, stole everything out of house, etc.. I was left pennyless, possessionless, homeless. And what you find know is when you are vulnerable, people take advantage of you & rip you off., I worked my ass of on this farm. I grew my own food, canned, bartered, sold stuff at local market, had huge flock of chickens, sold eggs to a market, fed up old barn, & learned to do fences, & then rented out boarded horses, I repaired fields fences & sold hay, leased fields to people for their meat cattle, I bought & resold stuff on eBay, Craig's list & flea markets. I made things work. But it only just paid the bills. So never any savings. I shared the farm with a friend, who had similar things happen to them. They are moving out of state with family. We paid rent, all bills, never had anything cut off. But just got by. And I didn't have an established network here because my family had only moved to this town a few yrs before. And all my family is dead. And when people hear of your marriage problems, or abuse you hid, they just shut you off. Or when I lived in the domestic violence shelter for 6 months & did the best I could, as attorneys kept saying don't worry you will get half, you will get support, we will get your things back, we will get you support payments. But I got nothing. Other side being paid a fortune kept playing games, delayed all my motions hearings, r stated needed to reschedule for a 2 day hearing, knowing there were no 2 day hearings open in the court schedule for 13 months.. They did this til I ran out of money, & could no longer pay my attorney. Yet my case is fully supported by law. But I was screwed. I then worked my but off trying to file things myself, but that went no better. So I was constantly defeated.. And it all takes a very big toll on a person, physically, mentally, spiritually. It destroys you. And for that person said just get in car & move to another state. My children are here. My visits with them are all I live for. They are the only things that keep me fighting, getting up every morning in this hell. And I don't know or have a place in another state so not that easy. I have been on glp since late 90s. Not always active as life was so busy. I also get effected by all this more because I am a sensitive, intuit, and when centered as best I can be I can RV things. I have been on here before & warned of things that did happen. My shock at the fact that all these democrats think they are supporting something that works. It does not. This state does not have medicaid, & doesn't fully participate in Obamacare. We hear all these lies about how succesful this bs NWO program is. We have heard how it is all lies. Well, you see, you need to be disabled in two ways. One physically and second mentally. The two together are a double whammy that lets you collect the whole kit and kaboodle. You need buzzwords like, "I had anxiety so badly that I couldn't function at work and had to go home", or "I have agoraphobia in addition to all my other disorders so I can't leave the house very often." According to Billie, who has two bulging disks, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, thyroid problems, bi-polar disorder, ADHD and agoraphobia, you have a trifecta of disbility that will land you into poverty, but well heeled poverty. I mean you won't have to work or do anything except complain. You do have to work at constantly complaining and making excuses. That can be hard work, however. If you have kids in house you can get Medicaid for them, & then you automatically get in a family program & get free Medicaid If you are an illegal citizen, migrant worker you automatically get Medicaid & expedited service & they go back 6 months & pay any old expenses. My situation is awful & complex. But I was totally ripped of, all accounts emptied my abusive spouse, took all household items, even my personal possesions. Used money $25,000 + he got attorney, took kids, because we were living in a domestic violence shelter. There is also no free legal aid for the 5 county area, judicial district I am in. He destroyed my credit (which was bet get than his) So I lost over 70 lbs, got sick, had a TIA (mini stroke) due to stress. Developed arthmia, heart valve leakage, pass out a lot, have thyroid tumor, NASH (non alcohol related liver disease) enlarged cystic etc..l And have lost so much weight I lost my boobs, but all I have is a. Very large painful mass that is my left breast. Pain even into underarm & radiates down arm some time. I have to take 4 naps a day to just function. I am now too sick to work, barley function. And will be literally homeless in a week. I am running around selling everything i have, Craigslist etc.. Clothes that are too big, & the only things I got out of a storage unit the bastard had put my stuff in. I was making enough money of this farm I rented to pay bills, but nothing saved, leased fields for meat cattle, leased horse barks monthly, had flock of chickens & sold eggs, & did ebay, Craigslist, flea market to supplement. So always payed bills. But landlord breaking lease to sell farm, gave 30 days. Even though lease & Virginia law state 90 days from state of sale. Was supposed to be out yesterday, but begged another week to try to sell all my stuff. They have a deposit that would take me to end of month .. But they are not being helpful. And I am a good person, no drugs, drinking, etc.. Just worked the farm, gardens, canned, tried to be as self sufficient as I could. But it is very hard to comeback from having literally nothing, &'having no family nor support network. So scared, hopeless, and trying to do the best I can. I waste no money, haven't had fast or restaurant food on 1.5 yrs. Cut my own hair. Buy all clothes 2nd hand. Just got really skrewed by a bad bad nasty abusive cheating creep. I have gone to social services, they can do nothing for me. all the links from state of va webpages, even Susan g komen for free mammograms etc in state of Virginia are now dead links. As it was assumed obamacare would cover all these free services. Nope. Not in Virginia. This is insane, an outrage. So anyone living in this state just outside of DC, with all wealthy county's in this state, & no free obamacare, no Medicaid to be had. You are just expected to die somewhere out of the way. And there are no section 8, 3 yr waiting lists for low income housing, no rapid rehousing funds, no homeless assistance available. And no SOARS agency's workers to help the 3 yr process to try to get social security disability, so you can then get a form of free Medicaid. And most county free clinics I have gone to & filled out applications for, even passed out while I was in2 of them.. State they can only do basic sick Illness care, not anything chronic, or terminal, or complicated, so send me on my way. Even was in hospital for 5 days in cardiac ward they never did I any liver, thyroid scans tests, no anything else & said I would just have to have all that done. By outside doctors once I was released. I explained I didn't have funds for this, nor ability to pay for thatcare,no the up front before service copays for any tests, drs visits. They have no recommendations nor suggestions. And of course I. Get daily robot collection calls from hospital & er services, $300 copay for ambulance.. Of which I just ignore. Marry a latino. They dont call them latin lovers for nothing. |

It's not easy. I went to college for years off of pell grants and assistance from the Vocational Rehabilitation people. I am nutz, so it's not like that's not true, but I wasn't paying for it. Voc rehab was giving me 175.00 a month for gas to get to college. It helped a lot. There are community resources, but you have to know where to look, have the right diagnosis, and not have any shame about looking for handouts. Unfortunately, if you continue doing this, you do get and entitlement mindset and think that you deserve the handouts that you are getting plus more besides. I remarried my ex-husband and it hasn't been easy, but he is taking care of me and I take care of the kids. I have been trying to help her find a man, but when I tell her that she's definitely going to have to do laundry clean floors, she has a hissy. She says there's no way she can do that. I'm like, two weeks ago, you were at my house and we bagged 21 bags of leaves and lifted a bagger worth of roofing tiles into the trailer. But, you know. Call the nearest town across the border and find a shelter, do not tell them you are moving, just that you are homeless and abused. Tell DSHS / social services you need travel assistance to visit your children. What I had to do several times is camp out of the car, even though I was sick as hell, for a time to get settled again. You have a decent case for PTSD, but you need a therapist and a psych doc cause you have to have diagnosis and medical history. You can sometimes get some help from churches and local groups that help the needs-food pantries, thrift stores, that kind of thing. They usually only help you for a short time. It's better to get diagnosed and go to a social security disability lawyer. That's what Cindy had to do. She had bowel cancer and we were both working temporary part time and didn't have any insurance. Sometimes there are groups that you can get medical assistance from. That is a possibility too. Then they send you to a page that says sorry your state does no participate. See single 50 yr old female, living alone. If you have kids in house you can get Medicaid for them, & then you automatically get in a family program & get free Medicaid If you are an illegal citizen, migrant worker you automatically get Medicaid & expedited service & they go back 6 months & pay any old expenses. My situation is awful & complex. But I was totally ripped of, all accounts emptied my abusive spouse, took all household items, even my personal possesions. Used money $25,000 + he got attorney, took kids, because we were living in a domestic violence shelter. There is also no free legal aid for the 5 county area, judicial district I am in. He destroyed my credit (which was bet get than his) So I lost over 70 lbs, got sick, had a TIA (mini stroke) due to stress. Developed arthmia, heart valve leakage, pass out a lot, have thyroid tumor, NASH (non alcohol related liver disease) enlarged cystic etc..l And have lost so much weight I lost my boobs, but all I have is a. Very large painful mass that is my left breast. Pain even into underarm & radiates down arm some time. I have to take 4 naps a day to just function. I am now too sick to work, barley function. And will be literally homeless in a week. I am running around selling everything i have, Craigslist etc.. Clothes that are too big, & the only things I got out of a storage unit the bastard had put my stuff in. I was making enough money of this farm I rented to pay bills, but nothing saved, leased fields for meat cattle, leased horse barks monthly, had flock of chickens & sold eggs, & did ebay, Craigslist, flea market to supplement. So always payed bills. But landlord breaking lease to sell farm, gave 30 days. Even though lease & Virginia law state 90 days from state of sale. Was supposed to be out yesterday, but begged another week to try to sell all my stuff. They have a deposit that would take me to end of month .. But they are not being helpful. And I am a good person, no drugs, drinking, etc.. Just worked the farm, gardens, canned, tried to be as self sufficient as I could. But it is very hard to comeback from having literally nothing, &'having no family nor support network. So scared, hopeless, and trying to do the best I can. I waste no money, haven't had fast or restaurant food on 1.5 yrs. Cut my own hair. Buy all clothes 2nd hand. Just got really skrewed by a bad bad nasty abusive cheating creep. I have gone to social services, they can do nothing for me. all the links from state of va webpages, even Susan g komen for free mammograms etc in state of Virginia are now dead links. As it was assumed obamacare would cover all these free services. Nope. Not in Virginia. This is insane, an outrage. So anyone living in this state just outside of DC, with all wealthy county's in this state, & no free obamacare, no Medicaid to be had. You are just expected to die somewhere out of the way. And there are no section 8, 3 yr waiting lists for low income housing, no rapid rehousing funds, no homeless assistance available. And no SOARS agency's workers to help the 3 yr process to try to get social security disability, so you can then get a form of free Medicaid. And most county free clinics I have gone to & filled out applications for, even passed out while I was in2 of them.. State they can only do basic sick Illness care, not anything chronic, or terminal, or complicated, so send me on my way. Even was in hospital for 5 days in cardiac ward they never did I any liver, thyroid scans tests, no anything else & said I would just have to have all that done. By outside doctors once I was released. I explained I didn't have funds for this, nor ability to pay for thatcare,no the up front before service copays for any tests, drs visits. They have no recommendations nor suggestions. And of course I. Get daily robot collection calls from hospital & er services, $300 copay for ambulance.. Of which I just ignore. THANKS BAGGERS!! |

I am a hard core patriot, registered independant since 18, but voted republican, independant & libretarian. I loved being a mom & put them first before myself always. So now have hard core ptsd. And miss my children dearly daily. I was a good loving mother & good wife. He was a beater, abuser, cheater, & I had discovered a porn exchange server in basement (innapropriate stuff on it) he threatened me, told me if I told he would kill me.. He got nervous & closed all bank accounts, stole everything out of house, etc.. I was left pennyless, possessionless, homeless. And what you find know is when you are vulnerable, people take advantage of you & rip you off., I worked my ass of on this farm. I grew my own food, canned, bartered, sold stuff at local market, had huge flock of chickens, sold eggs to a market, fed up old barn, & learned to do fences, & then rented out boarded horses, I repaired fields fences & sold hay, leased fields to people for their meat cattle, I bought & resold stuff on eBay, Craig's list & flea markets. I made things work. But it only just paid the bills. So never any savings. I shared the farm with a friend, who had similar things happen to them. They are moving out of state with family. We paid rent, all bills, never had anything cut off. But just got by. And I didn't have an established network here because my family had only moved to this town a few yrs before. And all my family is dead. And when people hear of your marriage problems, or abuse you hid, they just shut you off. Or when I lived in the domestic violence shelter for 6 months & did the best I could, as attorneys kept saying don't worry you will get half, you will get support, we will get your things back, we will get you support payments. But I got nothing. Other side being paid a fortune kept playing games, delayed all my motions hearings, r stated needed to reschedule for a 2 day hearing, knowing there were no 2 day hearings open in the court schedule for 13 months.. They did this til I ran out of money, & could no longer pay my attorney. Yet my case is fully supported by law. But I was screwed. I then worked my but off trying to file things myself, but that went no better. So I was constantly defeated.. And it all takes a very big toll on a person, physically, mentally, spiritually. It destroys you. And for that person said just get in car & move to another state. My children are here. My visits with them are all I live for. They are the only things that keep me fighting, getting up every morning in this hell. And I don't know or have a place in another state so not that easy. I have been on glp since late 90s. Not always active as life was so busy. I also get effected by all this more because I am a sensitive, intuit, and when centered as best I can be I can RV things. I have been on here before & warned of things that did happen. My shock at the fact that all these democrats think they are supporting something that works. It does not. This state does not have medicaid, & doesn't fully participate in Obamacare. We hear all these lies about how succesful this bs NWO program is. We have heard how it is all lies. There success, & bs are as fake as hillary's Twitter & social media fans. Or that Reid was hurt in the wee hrs of New Years day on excersise equipment. Check into Montana. It's working now on doing some extended Medicaid for the working poor who can't afford to get Obamacare like the great WalMart work "full time" 25 hours only a week so they don't have to help with Obamacare stuff. I know they have free medical any way, dental and I think mental zone on that sliding scale stuff. Once you got in the state you are a resident. There are some low income things for those unable to work seriously and not kidding waiting for disability and they get to stay for $25 a month which churches help with that. It's right beside the doctor, dental, mental so you could get to everything or them come to you. I noticed this add in a pretty place to go live in a haunted ghost town and gives you a place to live and food but is pretty 1800 style. But you could get into the medical system. [link to www.examiner.com] I'd be changing states as if you die you aren't going to see your kids any way. Change states with the idea of getting well. Then figure it out from there. |
