OP how many miles to the nearest border?
Call the nearest town across the border and find a shelter, do not tell them you are moving, just that you are homeless and abused. Tell DSHS / social services you need travel assistance to visit your children. What I had to do several times is camp out of the car, even though I was sick as hell, for a time to get settled again. You have to do it.
