Why not just put a "bathroom" or "restroom" sign on the door and be done with it? Why put a man or a woman? When I use the "bathroom" at the gas station, that's what sign is on that door. When did specifying a certain bathroom become the norm? I use whatever bathroom isn't occupied, just like the airplane, gas station or porto-potty.

I think the issue is that a person may look like a guy but identify inside as a woman or vice-versa and therefore want to use the womens or mens restroom as the case may be.

Many people in this thread assume that if a person feels this way they are perverts or want to do something perverted/illegal by using a public restroom. The way I see it is if a crime is not committed, leave the he/she alone to take a piss or dump already. If they are in the restroom walking around naked or flashing their junk around, then call police. Otherwise I don't see a crime or violation of anyones rights.
