It wont stop anytime soon. The last eruption lasted for almost three months, having the worst part around the 60th day.

Beside, the are at least four major volcanoes in that area: Calbuco, Tronador, Osorno and Puntiagudo. They all may be connected.

And just a few miles north, there is another erupting volcano: Villarica.

This has been a hell of a year for my country so far.
