My sister is there getting the Apache flight days. She's living in my house so she has to bring in the horses. It is open to the public, they just had to kick a few people to another room. Horses, sandy-loam and helicopters do not mix.
As for the exercise, they repeated the same thing I've been saying for a while. This is an exercise that has been going on for years in the east, it's just moving west. It is not new. It is not training against American's. OPFOR is actually going to replicate a "foreign special forces group" and "radicalized terrorists".
So they are training for Russian Spetsnaz (insert your country of doom here) and Muslim Terrorists, NOT plain clothes civilians.
So I ask again... Did jade helm scare you the past 10 years or just this year?

This country is not fighting terrorists in the Arab countries other than a few drones here and there. They are dropping supplies to ISIS so why would they be training in this country to fight them? Makes no sense. Because maybe ISIL (whichever group) is here and planning? Or they want to start rounding up all these lone wolves? Training here is WAY cheaper than training there. OPFOR will be a mixed military and civilian contractor groups. The Western US looks more like the Middle East than the eastern. Same reason 10th Mountain in NY trains in Colorado frequently, because colorado has real mountains.
