Now, you're in system - with a good lawyer - after 2 years - they can now collect SSI and are now an American Citizen.

He had an asthma attack in the van, wasn't restrained, and probably flailed around pretty hard trying to get air. He may have even seized. Whacked his neck on the bench.

Easiest explanation. Cops should have hooked him up with his inhaler.

Just a few things:

As for the timing of surgeries and what you can do and cannot do, I have had 2 lumbar fusions and would not have been a problem for me. Keep in mind 80% of your body weight is supported by the lumbar region, cervical would have not been that bad at all depending on the technique used for the fusion. There are a few different procedures that doctors do. 1 type of fusion surgery does not require the same recovery time as other types.

As for the reason an ambulance called, is a complete judgement call. People that have been arrested have screamed as if in pain, said they can't walk all the time. The question becomes if the officers believed it was legitimate. Basically comes down to if the officer believes the officers actions would have caused an injury that would get that type of reaction from the suspect. By the officers not calling an ambulance they didn't believe he was legitimately hurt as bad as he was. Having personally have had spine/nerve pain, there is a look that people have when they are in that type of pain and you cannot mistake it at all. Even if they question if he was hurt or not, one quick look at the back of his neck and you could see an incision on his neck (if he had surgery).

This all will come down to how well the officers articulate the reasons why they didn't believe he was that injured. Personally, I think they thought he was faking it, but if they would have taken 2 seconds to look they would have called for fire/rescue. Tragic, all of this could have been avoided.

It has to be true. It makes perfect sense why police acted how they did and should be presented to the public to defuse the situation.

Atleast, that is what they would do if it were the officials intentio to defuse rather than fuel tensions.

It had better be real and verified. The site is just too iffy and we have done our own investigation on it. They got the color of the skin wrong with the arresting cops.. took liberties with intent, put their slant on the story - biased.. etc. Notice the About page:
