True. I'm not that disciplined. Plus my diet is very restrictive.

I've been eating a lot of sweet potatoes with cottage cheese. My resent comfort food go-to. I had a weird thing going on with my left eye the last several months that has seemed to clear some with the sweet potatoes and spinach. Eyes after 40..

Vitamin D and magnesium supplement has me sleeping great at night.

I found these enzymes that help digest fats, but they have a limit of what they can do. Kinda a miracle for anyone with gallbladder issues. Just take one while you eat.

I recently got a black paper sketch pad and gel pens to doodle with. It was part of a bunch of art supplies I got my niece for her birthday last year, but kept a bit of it when I realized I went overboard and could have fun with them myself.

Some of the gel pens smelled like different fruits.

I ended up giving those to her for Christmas, when I didn't end up using them.

I feel that I had perhaps wrongly assumed that the eating disorder would eliminate my feelings of pain and rejection a month ago, give me something to base worth upon - this never happened. Losing the weight was fun, realizing BTS would have never let me lose enough to go into reasons feeling proud of my accomplishment was a rude awakening, being in eating disorder inpatient sucked and so did being told on the last day, "by the way, we had you diagnosed with OSFED all along!" Her mom garnered the condo through some work thing and let us have it for the weekend.

Other than the cement snow..everything else was awesome.

First time I had a Hot Toddy..

People left a bunch whiskey here after New Years. Maybe I'll make one.

Hot Toddy

hot toddy, also known as hot whiskey in Ireland, is typically a mixed drink made of liquor and water with honey (or, in some recipes, sugar), herbs (such as tea) and spices, and served hot.

Hot toddy recipes vary and are traditionally drunk before retiring for the night, in wet or cold weather or to relieve the symptoms of the cold and flu. In How to Drink, Victoria Moore describes the drink as "the vitamin C for health, the honey to soothe, the alcohol to numb.

He called the Fire department and got the lady and her dog, out her house that was closest to the flames. They got there fast, and only the shed was totally destroyed. Burned down to the ground. The flames were huge. Not sure what exploded. Propane tank probably.

The Hot toddy was surprisingly good for being so simple. I added just a bit of cayenne but would probably go a little lighter next time.

I also only added 1 full shot of Makers.

It's a great story. I post links to it at least a couple times a year. People should know that all it took was a frozen fudge bar, to completely alter his belief system..

In 1989, wanting to see how the American’s lived, Boris Yeltsin made an unscheduled visit to Randall’s supermarket in Houston. Between trying free samples of cheese and produce and staring at the meat selections, Yeltsin roamed the aisles of Randall’s nod
[link to imgur.com (secure)]

He was dazzled by the fact that grocery stores were everywhere, and that they even offered free samples. A year or so later, a biographer wrote that on the plane ride from Texas to Florida, Yelstin couldn’t get the vision of the endless food supply out of his mind, and lamented how different things were for his own countrymen. According to wikipedia, Leon Aron, quoting a Yeltsin associate, wrote in his biography, “Yeltsin, A Revolutionary Life” (St. Martin’s Press, 2000): “For a long time, on the plane to Miami, he sat motionless, his head in his hands. ‘What have they done to our poor people?’ he said after a long silence.” He added, “On his return to Moscow, Yeltsin would confess the pain he had felt after the Houston excursion: the ‘pain for all of us, for our country so rich, so talented and so exhausted by incessant experiments.’”

He wrote that Mr. Yeltsin added, “I think we have committed a crime against our people by making their standard of living so incomparably lower than that of the Americans.”

And then, in his own autobiography, Yeltsin wrote about the experience at the grocery store himself, which reshaped his entire view on communism, ultimately leading to his leaving the Communist party.

“When I saw those shelves crammed with hundreds, thousands of cans, cartons and goods of every possible sort, for the first time I felt quite frankly sick with despair for the Soviet people,” Yeltsin wrote. “That such a potentially super-rich country as ours has been brought to a state of such poverty! It is terrible to think of it

It was the shed of a house the block over. How he even caught a glimpse, was random luck or something else. He was the first to call the Fire Department.

I ran down there to make sure and ran back over here because we have a police officer that lives in the house behind us and I notified him in case he could get people there faster. He was in his bathrobe and me in my jammies, getting poured on as I we walked out together into the road so I could point it out to him.

We looked quite the pair. lol

I figured afterward it was a good time to try a hot toddy. It was much better than I thought it would be.
