Re: The VOID
I started to get high blood pressure when I hit my peak weight maybe..10 years ago. I was also a smoker and drank with my friends, multiple times a week.

After losing around 70lbs, and still a smoker, my blood pressure was taken and it was really low.

Only thing that changed was the weight I carried. I did end up under weight for my height and started gaining weight back, quit smoking, put on the smoker 20, and took it off again.

Being thinner makes everything easier. Take up less resources too.

It weird folding the laundry now that his clothes have all shrunk in size. Takes some getting use to. Not complaining.

I think we're also the same height. Kinda funny. I'm 5'2. I smoked for 3 years in my teens, like, constantly had a cig in my mouth. This family is known for chain smoking. Lol After I quit the detox process was intense. This was also around the time I started to have the very vivid end of the world dreams likened to your books falling from the sky dream. Did you ever wake with night sweats?
 Quoting: Ricky M

I'm an inch taller. I smoked a lot by the time I decided enough was enough. Around $10/day. Calculate those savings over 5 years. Really adds up.

And really what it was..was my dog giving me something to live for. Which is what I was looking for.

That's all it took.

I'd have to go back an look during that time to see what I was dreaming. I think that was around the time of all the plane crash dreams..but didn't associate the two.

There's a reason why when my dreams came back in February like they did, that I was so highly disturbed.

I just don't need those too.

Omg! That's awesome. What does he do for exercise?
 Quoting: Ricky M

He's been an avid cyclist for at least a decade but before Keto, no matter how hard he tried..and he did try...he could never get below 204lbs.

On Keto he is below 180lbs now and is very pleased with his progress. His whole body has transformed.

Besides cycling, he turned part of our outdoor covered area into a small gym space. He has a pull up bar. Rings. One of those sit up balls, free weights, resistance bands..and kettle bells.

He eats huge salads every day and gets all his micros through different oils and supplements.

No fruit. No bread of any kind. No carbs at all.

At the end I tried to smoke American Spirits but that wasn't cutting it. Those sucked. So I quit. I was also walking/running everyday and that kept me from picking up a pack. Can't be a runner and a smoker.

If you've never seen this movie and you enjoyed Hell and Back you would probably like it.

I was having smoothies too but I decided to cut that out.

Too much sugar.

Do you guys take chlorella and spirulina?

Salads often don't digest well for me. There is a very narrow range of food, I can eat without problems.

That's why I fast a lot. Because it is better than being in pain.

And I generally feel better overall.

I don't take anything. But I am thinking of starting D.

Chlorella and spirulina are superfoods. You could try it. It's an algae or something. It's like eating seaweed. It's also a cancer fighter. Helps alkalize the body. It improves digestion. You can buy it in powder or pill form. You can give it to your pets. It's really good for you. And check this out!

Re: The VOID
And yeah I wasn't sure if the salads would be a good idea for me. But I started craving them and decided to give it a try. What really helped was incorporating probiotics back into my diet.

I get the plain greek yogurt and will add it to different things I'm eating throughout the day. Mixing it with salad dressing. I put it in oatmeal for breakfast.

I know you have said before probiotics hurt your stomach. It might be a PH problem. I started doing lemon/lime water before bed. I think I figured out what it was for me.

My PH was off and I'm still working on fixing it. But it's the craziest thing. When I start to feel heartburn coming on I will do the lemon/lime thing and it will take it away.

Probiotics are no bueno. Cutting soy helped. No more pretend burgers. Or pretend corn dogs. I'm pretty sure that was all poison.

Yes. Same idea as taking baking soda in water. It works better than any antacid and costs pennies and in everyone's cupboard.

Aww. Sweet guy.

I love that his 'cure' was onion. I eat sooooo much onion. Often caramelized, BBQd, or raw. Every single day. I crave it constantly.

I'm convinced it is a cure all.

I saw a post mentioning sulfur in onion in the Vitamin D thread.. I should look into that.

I haven't eat much onion lately. I got in trouble with raw garlic a few months back.

Gave myself horrible gastritis. I thought I was dying. Lol

I'll have garlic if it's in sauce, like for spaghetti. Have you guys tried the zucchini noodles? I still need to try that.

I have reintroduced tomato back into my diet. I did it slowly. I will do the same with onion.

It's not my favorite raw taste. But I do love the smell of sauteed onions.

Raw garlic? In what?

Lots of garlic is good for vampires. I add rosemary, and sage for the demons. And basil because..reasons. :P

And lots of onion.

Now I want French onion soup.

It sounds like social anxiety. Like being isolated for so long you forget how to interact with people. I know we have talked about the isolation thing before.
 Quoting: Ricky M

I know it is. Once i push through it, im fine. Plus the energy when it is strong, doesn't really allow for comfortable social interactions, which is why I'd get so angry if it bothers me while I'm working.

With that said, got to Market today and someone had..appled the fountain. There's like 20 apples floating around in it.

That's a new one. :P
