Seer777 (OP) Ride the wings of the mind User ID: 78044294 United States 10/05/2019 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was just recalling earlier today strangely enough.. When I was a preschool teacher, way back when, I moved to a facility that catered more to the poor and young parents. And with that, a host of problem children. One in particular was actually very sweet, but nonverbal. I was doing something up front and attending to the crowd of kids, when she walked up to me and just let out this blood curling scream. I remember feeling it reverberate through my entire being as my ear drums, cringed in pain. For the briefest of moment, all I could think was making it stop and in that moment, I almost struck her. Purely as reflex. Instead looked down at her with the full realization why some children may end up getting abused. I will never forget how I felt examining myself in the seconds after, I almost struck her. This video is perfect. Thanks. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

Once Ruby was murdered that was it for me and that kind of work. I became a nanny and loved it. Was well paid and enjoyed my work. Then the 2008 collapse and the families I worked for were laid off and had their hours cut. They kept me on as long as they could. Good memories. Other than having to say goodbye forever. Then, just hours ago we followed up by reporting that a petition had been filed with the NHTSA claiming that Tesla was using over the air software updates to cover up dangerous battery issues. Today, we offer a stark reminder that just because the NHTSA has started to perk up its ears, doesn't mean that Teslas haven't stopped going up in flames all over the world. The most recent example comes from Austria, where after a Tesla was involved in an accident and caught fire, firefighters had to use a special container to transport the remains of the vehicle and the battery. I think it was because when I was driving home yesterday, I passed a giant tent full of people enjoying Octoberfest downtown here. I even saw some dressed up walking toward the tent. But still. lol [link to youtu.be (secure)] I could certainly understand that woukd be frustrating if you have a garden. My mom was hoping to start an organic vegetable garden in the backyard here. I found a couple other residents who said they’d be on board. No need to worry about hail out here. |

No need to worry about hail out here. We didn't get much of Summer this year. Only needed to turn on the AC like 5 times. Zucchini and cucumber did great. Herbs good. Tomatoes never ripened. Mold and bad weather for weeks, has forced constant attentiveness. I was talking to another artist yesterday and she lost some of her crop. Not a great growing year.. I certainly have deeper respect for farmers, and what it must be like losing a crop. Especially if that food kept their families alive. Like before there were places to buy food..everywhere. It can happen really fast. Hours. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

Like all rewarding experiences, sometimes failure can make success more meaningful. |

I did watch the temp drop to 69 last night but that was it. Today it's back in the 80s. This is crap. I hate the humidity. I can't wait to leave here. This is something I won't miss. Ever. I don't care how much snow I have to walk through. How many blizzards. How many sunless days. Anything is better than what I've experienced here. I say that now and expect to have a shock once I'm no longer in this climate but I know how to layer clothes so I think I'm gonna be just fine. Lol |
