I read the first 3 in 5 days, on Christmas vacation, back when I was in college. I spent the whole time reading and enjoyed every second of it.

Waiting for the 4th book to drop, was..well you know how it is, to have to wait..

I read all the books so, so long ago.
The movies are quite enchanting as well, but the first four are probably the best.
I’m watching 7 part 1 as I wait for my mom to arrive with my computer and harddrive. I’m quite nervous about picking out some old writings. I hope they suffice.

I thought the movies were excellent and repeatedly watchable. I usually watch at least 1 or 2 or the movies, once a year.

Have you ever dreamed of your cell phone, tablet or laptop? For as often as they are in front of us..it's kinda weird.

My night of dreaming ended with a mass shooter in an auditorium. I almost forget right after I woke up, but then..there it was.

Hmm. Maybe not dreamed of my technology per se, but often I do dream video game type dreams. Very often, there are missions and objectives and video game themes. I suppose video games have permeated my core consciousness somehow.

That’s a good point though. I think the mass shooter dream is not an uncommon one in our day and age. Sadly. So deeply traumatic in the collective such instances are, that they cut deep swathes on our unconsciousness.

Video game dreams are awesome. I've only had a few I can recall.

Yeah. I think it was because when I was driving home yesterday, I passed a giant tent full of people enjoying Octoberfest downtown here. I even saw some dressed up walking toward the tent. I suddenly thought.they would all be sitting ducks, if anyone chose to snap. It made me sad.

Really no matter what seems to happen, people are resilient and they just go on with their lives. I admire that.

I think that is why I dreamed that though.

I have thought about that where I am now. A lot of people could choose to go apeshit on a jewish rehab. One of the girls here had a dream this place was shot up.

It's scary. Statistically unlikely, but still it is so random it can happen anywhere at any time.

Borderline did not seem 'random' and that took a lot personal bending to deal with.

The syncs like that, often do. And why I avoid certain things.

Oof. We get far too much sun out here. It’s definitely sunny today. Last weekend was one of the first overcast group of days in a long time. It made me ecstatically happy for as long as it lasted. But I suppose you guys in Oregon get more than your fair share of gloominess.

I admit..last Saturday morning, when I was woke up at 3 am to the craziest hail I've ever seen here, battering my garden..I yelled at the sky.

Garden was okay after much assistance. But still. lol

I could certainly understand that woukd be frustrating if you have a garden.
My mom was hoping to start an organic vegetable garden in the backyard here. I found a couple other residents who said they’d be on board. No need to worry about hail out here.

We didn't get much of Summer this year. Only needed to turn on the AC like 5 times.

Zucchini and cucumber did great. Herbs good. Tomatoes never ripened. Mold and bad weather for weeks, has forced constant attentiveness.

I was talking to another artist yesterday and she lost some of her crop.

Not a great growing year..


I certainly have deeper respect for farmers, and what it must be like losing a crop. Especially if that food kept their families alive. Like before there were places to buy food..everywhere.

It can happen really fast. Hours.
