At a friends shop yesterday, browsing. picked a book off the shelf & flipped to the back, per usual.

"Brockman gathered almost 800 men, and took command of them, even bringing in artillery, and on September 11, 1846, He attacked Nauvoo."

Do you recall the title and author?

Joseph Smith: A Biography
Richard Lloyd Dewey
 Quoting: callit

Joseph Smith, the Mormon prophet, was one of the most colorful and controversial American figures of the nineteenth century-so controversial, in fact, that to this day it is nearly impossible to find an unbiased account of his career.

This book is an honest attempt to give a full picture of the man behind all the controversy; to acquaint the reader with the man who was-and continues to be-hailed as a prophet or dismissed out of hand.

Not a coincidence.

Not surprised he pops up. If people do 'go on'..he'd be rearing to get a say I'm sure..

Thanks for this.

I watched it a few times yesterday, while making dinner.

Kinda makes me want to watch it, but I have a feeling it's probably too violent for me. Which is why I avoided it.

I've heard from many it is excellent.
 Quoting: Seer777

In the fall of 1989, local authorities here announced that six of Ervil’s youngest children, mostly teen-agers, left their separate Salt Lake City foster homes in an apparently coordinated escape and probably rejoined the cult in Mexico.

“These kids had contact with each other, they knew how to keep in touch and one night they all disappeared,” says Forbes.

If these children returned to Mexico, it was to a “bad scene” according to Rena Chynoweth. “The ranch was a veritable hotbed of hatred, militarism and illegal activities,” she writes in her book. “It was reputed to be an arsenal for many types of automatic weapons and the group was reported to be dealing in stolen cars and motorcycles from the U.S.”

Thread: TRUMP: THIS MEANS WAR (Page 9)

This wasn't a cartel murder. This was yet another order from the Mormon Manson, via his now-grown children.

It was something that struck me in the Mormon Manson documentary. These men have 'visions' and then claim to be 'the messiah' or the chosen one.
His brother, the one he had killed, is still viewed in that manner in the group.

It just all seems so silly now. All of it. Devious too. The dissonance is gone though. I feel like I see it clearer now that I'm on the outside. At least for now.
 Quoting: Seer777

Why are some people's visions considered valid and true, while anyone else that claims that 'God talks to them in words' are considered raving lunatics with advanced schizophrenia?

What is the difference between the obviously insane, and Joseph Smith?

The picture up above is a quick “test” for it. Note that there is no real scientific test that I know of, this is more for you then an official diagnosis. Close your eyes and picture a red star. Make note of what you see. Open your eyes. Which of those is what you saw closest to?

I see 1. A hazy darkness. That’s it. I picture nothing. I never have. If you see 1 as well, you might have it too.

 Quoting: Seer777

hi

For me, the imagination is more of situational dependent on contents being imagined that entail the difficulty level. It is like mini reality creation within mind. It is kinda cool.

Sometimes with prior examples from real life can help with refining or as inspiration / upgrade to mind.

But interfacing and expressing something from imagination / mental / thought in 100% exact or precise way is something I haven't achieve yet and probably won't. That is fine with me.

Can you take a blank thought surface and create a scene from scratch, then make it move and move through it? Can you add small details like textures and creatures?

As a deaf person, I would assume you do not have an inner voice like I would think of one. My inner-voice is my natural voice I hear when I speak. Such that, if I had never heard myself speak, I can't imagine how an inner voice works.

I have asked you in the past how it works for you, like thinking in sign language, or in written words. Is it difficult to articulate.

Not quite qualia but almost.

I recall an article some years back, that some people can't think in images.
 Quoting: Seer777

Do You Have Aphantasia?

Picture a sandy beach, waves lapping at the shore, and the Sun setting on the horizon. For most people this is an easy task, but for a small proportion, it’s impossible. Known as “aphantasia,” doctors have described for the first time a condition where people can’t form mental images in their “mind’s eye.”

It’s thought that as many as one in fifty people might have aphantasia.

Have to agree on book over movie. But believe that's more based on what's cut in order to keep the movie at a reasonable length. Like most things, it's the small things that make the big difference.

That is what I was able to glean from the image.

Just to note, I have mentioned a few times, I don't often remember my dreams any longer. It was quite distressing for me for sometime but now I have grown use to it.

I woke with one this morning that I found so curious I relayed it to another before I had seen the crop circle image.

Take it for what it is...

A Dream.

I was in a type of rubble field. I unearthed a tin-type box out of a wall which surprisingly broke away very easily.

I sensed the wall and the box had been there for some time.

When I opened the box, within it lay an assortment of 9-12 large precious jewels. A Diamond, Ruby, Emerald, and so on.

All different, priceless, and set carefully apart as to display each individually.

Each lay in its respective spot, but was held in place by no means I could glean.

I found that curious with them having been in the box so long and not gently removed from the wall.

that is how "sacred geometry" does what it does, from the inside outwards as described by you because the information arises from within and the "instructions" radiate out into the completed shape

the interesting part of your dream is discovery of what is by tradition is precious (jewels/material)
but your attention focused on the invisible (non material) influence that formed/sustained them
this tells you by nature see what is not traditionally seen and what traditionally distracts (causes no desire to see further) does not distract your vision

Re: The VOID

a qubit is a molecular black block that interprets data numbers as energy. qubit don't perform equations they interpret energy! lol

consider how a qubit functions. it is as a confined set, autonomous to itself. within the qubit, energy is filtered into concentric subsets of itself. each subset either applies the data or passes the energy on. when the data has been narrowed to a subset, the energy has found a solution! the largest molecular qubit that can be manufacture is relative size wise to the 512 - 1024 - 2056 bits of memory, dating back 40 years, ago.

now consider, ain sof, a set of ten concentric circles, with each smaller concentric circle being a smaller subset of the of the last. what the entire ain sof set has in common, is a singular input from the outside circle to the innermost circle that spans all ten concentric circles.

it differs from a qubit in that a qubit doesn't have the an instantaneous ability. lol

I made that post in about the crop circle(Cube), in another thread that was later deleted.

Aether made and moved it to X thread, the day I made it.

It weirded me out at the time being I had only spoke to him briefly some days before in Luna's Vortex thread.

I waited for multiple pages until I commented the first time.
