Re: The VOID
As of now what this should amount to is seeing a field of pure white over the pure white emitting from your new white eyes. So, just two fields of bright white superimposed. If you can't maintain first person perspective, or for certain applications, use third person and see yourself with white lights for eyes in front of a field of white.

The goal is for the light to take little to no effort to see, and to sustain itself like watching tv or being in a waking dream. That takes a trained or powerful mind so to aid in the process you break the journey down into steps.

Having learned about aphantasia and the difference between people's mental pictures, I think my memory is indeed semi-photographic.

Ever since I was a kid, I could recall on what side of a book, left/right I had read a passage, and where it was located on the page. Came in very handy in school.

I am also regularly shown images of lost objects with their exact location..up to which part of a small drawer it is buried in, having not seen it, in years.

Different ways people think is interesting.

Re: The VOID
Right now the differentiator I have for anyone is that at the center of this field of light which is a great fire, the goal is the planet Venus, including the atmosphere as a halo surrounding it. Past the planet would be the center.

Now, there is very much more power/benefit in someone finding their way to me than me having to go to someone myself.

If you do reach me, or anyone else there, or even spend to long doing this, you should be given gifts. The first of these, which I will explain later, is a pair of glowing red lights to use as eyes.

So, the planet Venus cast into the white center of a fire that I'm hedging on being the sun.

Va.pirism...soul stealing...dictatorship...all require a choice to subordinate oneself and subsequently echo the flawed logic to others.

Most do this to avoid conflict. Thus the stereotypical parasite will aggressively mime to see if the switch to acquiesce is flippe d.

Is that what happened to Michael Jackson or Tesla?
 Quoting: Seer777

That's quite the bipolar cross section. Tesla died an old man summarily forgotten. MJ never had a choice as he was more an alter than a person.

There are a lot of whatever happened to articles that would likely make my point.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76503163

When I read your post I was reminded of the scene in The Prestige when Tesla talks about his fame. That's why I included him.

Michael Jackson looked like a monster by the time he died. He was not well in any shape or form and many over looked his bizarre behaviors. He had known fame since childhood.

I do understand that people leave and move away from fame, probably for the reasons both you and I mentioned. But it doesn't take much to recall someone in memory.

Mikey vibes aren't a good thing.

I think those that consider $$ value, to have it all wrong and will lose or mismanage it eventually. Quick path to the dark side that is waiting with open arms.

Proof of telepathy might have $$ value to it, but I think the scientific implications are worth far far more than money.

I have little to no interest in money or things.
 Quoting: Seer777

They're a good thing if you're Mikey, no? What else is wrong with them?

Do you look at it primarily as telepathy? I think of it as just tai-chi or reiki with the communication aspect being secondary.

The scientific vs monetary concerns depend on what it all turns out to be. You can prove chi exists, but you have to learn to do anything with it. It can be monetized far more quickly than it can be researched. And it will still be researched anyway.

I don't care about money, no, but I would like to do good. Or even see a paradigm shift.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78088401

Mikey was terrible to me.

I see it as entanglement or sharing space.

I think if it was ever monetized, it would be utilized as a drug..

You know what they say about the 'road to Hell'..

I don't want to rehash but I don't think it was that simple. Anyway things are very different now and I apologise.

Yes, just like a drug. It would be like a multi-trillion dollar business. And that's just the tip of the iceberg that you know. This is all much more far along than just that.

Why even call it a cult?

It automatically has negative connotations right out the gate.

Why not, design your own card game, or something like that?

Not that, that would be easy. But you played games enough, I bet you could do it.

It really is. And no matter how good a movie is, it usually can't compare to a book. Try as they might.

It is beautiful thing to see someone's or many people, turn a book into a movie.

We are innately storytellers and as humans, find our stories, very precious to us. We want to share them with each other. And then talk it about it more.

You really would like that movie though.

And probably the book.

Infinite Jest
Many subsections of the novel depict how characters lose control over their situations. We see a character wait in vain to buy drugs. We see addicts get high to escape the reality that law enforcement is on to them. At the same time, the novel includes stories of how characters lose choice in a positive way, whether through willingness to pet a mangy dog and thus gain entrance to a treatment facility or practice tennis for hours each day to transcend plateaus and fight for a chance to compete for a career. In fact, members of the A.F.R. willingly lose the use of their legs by lying down on train tracks to prove their devotion to the cause. Hal's father kills himself, and Hal discovers the body. He is required to receive counseling and attempts to game the system by reading carefully through all the available books on grief and indicators of the various steps. He becomes a star tennis player and surprises even himself with his progress, but prizes the idea of inaction as a way to succeed. We learn that Hal has not gone a day without getting high in over a year, and we witness his ritual several times. Ultimately, he presents himself differently than he is received by others. Because of this, he has been coached to hold himself still. This final point in the story is placed at the beginning of the novel.

“Everybody is identical in their secret unspoken belief that way deep down they are different from everyone else. Almost nothing important that ever happens to you happens because you engineer it. Destiny has no beeper; destiny always leans trench coated out of an alley with some sort of 'psst' that you usually can't even hear because you're in such a rush to or from something important you've tried to engineer. The thing about people who are truly and malignantly crazy: their real genius is for making the people around them think they themselves are crazy. In military science this is called Psy-Ops, for your info. You can be shaped, or you can be broken. There is not much in between. Try to learn. Be coachable. Try to learn from everybody, especially those who fail. This is hard. How promising you are as a Student of the Game is a function of what you can pay attention to without running away.” David Foster Wallace, Infinite Jest

The type of like "I'm shit and the world'd be better off without poor me" type that says that but also imagines what everybody'll say at their funeral. I've met types like that on wards. Poor-me-I-hate-me-punish-me-come-to-my-funeral. Then they show you a 20 X 25 glossy of their dead cat. It's all self-pity bullshit. It's bullshit. I didn't have any special grudges. I didn't fail an exam or get dumped by anybody. All these types. Hurt themselves. I didn't want to especially hurt myself. Or like punish. I don't hate myself. I just wanted out. I didn't want to play anymore is all. I wanted to just stop being conscious. I'm a whole different type. I wanted to stop feeling this way. If I could have just put myself in a really long coma I would have done that. Or given myself shock I would have done that. Instead.” Infinite Jest

The writer David Foster Wallace committed suicide on September 12th 2008. His wife, Karen Green, came home to find that he had hung himself on the patio of their house, in Claremont, California.

If my life was a movie, the turning point of my depression would have been inspirational and meaningful. It would have involved wisdom-filled epiphanies about discovering my true self and I would conquer my demons and go on to live out the rest of my life in happiness.

Instead, my turning point mostly hinged upon the fact that I had rented some movies and then I didn't return them for too long.

The late fees had reached the point where the injustice of paying any more than I already owed outweighed a p a t h. y.. I considered just keeping the movies and never going to the video store again, but then I remembered that I still wanted to re-watch Jumanji.

I put on some clothes, put the movies in my backpack and biked to the video store. It was the slowest, most resentful bike ride ever.

Yet there I was, casually wishing that I could stop existing in the same way you'd want to leave an empty room or mute an unbearably repetitive noise.

That wasn't the worst part, though. The worst part was deciding to keep going.

When I say that deciding to not kill myself was the worst part, I should clarify that I don't mean it in a retrospective sense. From where I am now, it seems like a solid enough decision. But at the time, it felt like I had been dragging myself through the most miserable, endless wasteland, and — far in the distance — I had seen the promising glimmer of a slightly less miserable wasteland. And for just a moment, I thought maybe I'd be able to stop and rest.

But as soon as I arrived at the border of the less miserable wasteland, I found out that I'd have to turn around and walk back the other way.

He is a good speaker. Plays shy very well in his role as Kylo Ren.

I like how he describes the Marines. My best guy friend did the same but he saw 2 tours..to Iraq..I think it was. Where ever we were in the early 2000s.

Myself and another high school friend went to San Diego and watched him graduate from boot camp. Then we all hit Vegas. Lol
