You mentioned fear. If I look into the void I can see frights in dream quality. If I ignore it, they'll run their course in the background. The result is my eyes feeling like they're burning.

He is a good speaker. Plays shy very well in his role as Kylo Ren.

I like how he describes the Marines. My best guy friend did the same but he saw 2 tours..to Iraq..I think it was. Where ever we were in the early 2000s.

Myself and another high school friend went to San Diego and watched him graduate from boot camp. Then we all hit Vegas. Lol

He lived in Florida after returning from war.

One of the dead in the Pensacola shooting, was named Josh too..

Pensacola naval base shooting that left 3 dead presumed to be terrorism, FBI says

The Navy identified the dead late Saturday as three aviation students: Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, of Coffee, Alabama; Airman Mohammed Sameh Haitham, 19, of St. Petersburg, Florida; and Airman Apprentice Cameron Scott Walters, 21, of Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Imagine trying to describe the taste of an apple.

What do apples taste like?

That sudden 'blank' you draw when reaching how to describe it..is qualia.

No matter what words you can draw or imagine to describe the taste of an apple..it will never experience the same as eating one.

 Quoting: Ricky M

If my life was a movie, the turning point of my depression would have been inspirational and meaningful. It would have involved wisdom-filled epiphanies about discovering my true self and I would conquer my demons and go on to live out the rest of my life in happiness.

Instead, my turning point mostly hinged upon the fact that I had rented some movies and then I didn't return them for too long.

The late fees had reached the point where the injustice of paying any more than I already owed outweighed a p a t h. y.. I considered just keeping the movies and never going to the video store again, but then I remembered that I still wanted to re-watch Jumanji.

I put on some clothes, put the movies in my backpack and biked to the video store. It was the slowest, most resentful bike ride ever.

[link to hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com]
 Quoting: Seer777

When I was a kid I think there were at least 2 movies we never returned. I don't remember what they were though.

One of my favorite movies was My Neighbor Totoro every time we went to the movie store I had to have it!

Ponyo is another cute one.

These need to be on glp. Lol

 Quoting: Seer777

Yet there I was, casually wishing that I could stop existing in the same way you'd want to leave an empty room or mute an unbearably repetitive noise.

That wasn't the worst part, though. The worst part was deciding to keep going.

When I say that deciding to not kill myself was the worst part, I should clarify that I don't mean it in a retrospective sense. From where I am now, it seems like a solid enough decision. But at the time, it felt like I had been dragging myself through the most miserable, endless wasteland, and — far in the distance — I had seen the promising glimmer of a slightly less miserable wasteland. And for just a moment, I thought maybe I'd be able to stop and rest.

But as soon as I arrived at the border of the less miserable wasteland, I found out that I'd have to turn around and walk back the other way.

It's not depressing because qualia proves we're all connected..due our own desire to invent different ways to manifest a way to share the near indescribable way we all experience our environment..and each other.

Like how a smile is universal. As is its opposite.

It is shared.

As you just showed with that Rose carved apple, the abstract possibilities for organic art and the interpretative variabilities are, many... Apples are Deep.
Elephants, are Amazing! That's a never-ending story...

Yes. An admirable picture in many ways.

It seems to tell many secrets?

You just taught me about silience and qualia...

Re: The VOID
"Twenty-five years ago, during my Ph.D. qualifying exam at Berkeley, one professor asked me 'Why can you hear my voice across this table?' I answered that, 'It is because your sound travels by vibrating molecules in the air.' He further asked, 'What if we suck all air molecules out of this room? Can you still hear me?' I said, 'No, because there is no medium to vibrate,'" Zhang said. "Today, what we discovered is a surprising new mode of heat conduction across a vacuum without a medium, which is achieved by the intriguing quantum vacuum fluctuations. So, I was wrong in my 1994 exam. Now, you can shout through a vacuum."
