Some ppl experience this their whole lives it is supposed to draw them to their "soul mate" let's say. So no matter what you think along the way it will end up being the same person, your mate, who's energy you were interacting with, if you make it to the end. The rest is illusion.
So you could find out it was aether for example. But at this point bc of matrix issues, aether can't pull anyone past me.
